we are so happy we found Kohl Construction! We are thrilled with the outcome of our project and the experience was everything we wanted in a contractor. Honest, professional, experienced, and produced a project on time and within budget! We don't have more projects for them but can't recommend them enough. If you are looking to hire a general contractor for your project, make sure to spend some time talking with Kohl Construction before you make a decision. We had more than one false starts with our project, including outrageous cost proposals. From the moment we sat down with Kohl, we knew things were turning around for us and we were right.

Kohl construction does excellent work!! My family has worked with them for over 30 years, as they did multiple projects on my mother’s home in Mt Baker and now they have completed an incredible renovation (complete kitchen, new powder room, and refinishing 2 stories of living space) on our 1903 Seward Park home. We have never looked for another contractor because we know that the Kohl’s (father and son) do great work and we can trust them to do everything in our best interest. They are always honest and will work with you to make practical and economical decisions. Highly recommend them!

Our kitchen remodel project was small but complex, an expansion melding a century-old brick chimney kitchen with a large, recently built mudroom, and it had to be done in the middle of our busy three-teenager household, of course with our overly protective dog roaring in the front room. Brendan handled it all with aplomb, a good sense of humor and some really excellent work from the stable of craft workers established by his dad, the esteemed Paul Kohl. Thanks again for another great transformation!

Kohl Construction & Remodeling has done several projects for us. The most recent were a bathroom and deck with which we are quite pleased. The largest projects have been our kitchen and a remake of our entire front yard and entry. We still love them after many years and the quality of the construction still shows. Apart from the quality of their work, Paul Kohl is entirely honest and provides options based on cost. All of his people are great and easy to have around, which is important during a construction project. I highly recommend them for any project. The date and cost range given below was for the bathroom.

Very good communication and outstanding work. Created an art studio filled with light and design matching 1927 Tudor style house. They met timelines and were considerate of our property and yard. They worked with us to add features and stay within budget mostly.

Paul led his team on this lovely 2nd story addition and general renovation of this craftsman house on Phinney Ridge. They did a great job on a complex reconstruction of an older home, including interior finishes and the installation of a dumbwaiter.

I've done a couple of projects with this company. Great to work with, with lots attention to detail and customer concerns. Has access to quality sub contractors, all of whom are extremely professional and pleasant to work with.
