Kurk Construction led by Rob Kurk was a pleasure to work with. He is conscientious, honest and determined to complete a job well done, on time and on budget. The renovation of a 1940s cottage required creativity and practicality and his whole team responded to the challenge with enthusiasm and hard work. He removed old ceilings and walls, created an updated floor plan, replaced windows and doors, designed and constructed a large deck, and replaced electrical fixtures, always thorough about safety. He is easy to communicate with, and shows up when expected. All in all a great job!

Rob has completed two projects for us. The most recent was a complete kitchen remodel that included a wall removal, new recessed lighting, cabinet replacement, new flooring, and new marble counters. Rob handled all aspects of the job including design, demolition, and coordination with sub-contractors ( electrical and ceiling texturing). He also updated counters and flooring in a bathroom. We were extremely pleased with the results of his work, and proud to show it to our visitors. If you don't need a major remodel, ask him for pictures of custom furniture that he has done in the past- a true artist with wood. Finally, prepare to really enjoy working with Rob on your project. He is a joy to be around- not something I can say about all contractors I have used in the past.

In February 2023 I took 3 bids to tear down an old redwood deck and replace it with a Trex deck. I chose Rob Kurk Construction. His bid was very competitive. He had excellent references, great communication skills, he is professional and easy to talk with. He has good listening skills and responsive to my requests or changes. Rob and his crew built a beautiful 12'x80' Trex deck with iron railings and three flights of steps in the amount of time and price Rob had originally stated.
