On July 26, 2023 I had a tree fall on my house. I contacted my insurance company and hired a contractor. In October I ended up firing my original contractor for several reasons. I was extremely frustrated at that point. I spoke to a gentleman at church who put me in contact with Marty Norvel. God works in amazing ways. Mr. Norvel could tell my frustration and stress levels were through the roof (quite literally) and assured me he would take care of everything. He did exactly what he said. Not only did he have to deal with the mess the previous contractor had left, but he went above and beyond all my expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable and he truly listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I am extremely pleased with the job and would recommend Mr. Norvel and his company to anyone who needs an amazing general contractor.

Mr. Novel was the General Contractor for a bathroom remodel and installation of wood flooring in my 2 upper floors. The flooring looks great! Though I had general ideas of what I wanted to do for the bathroom remodel, he helped bring my ideas to the next level. For instance, adding bifold-doors to the large bathroom/sink/closet area and removing the individual doors (to the bathroom and closet) left the space as more of an open and flowing vanity/dressing area. One of the things that I really appreciated was that he really listened to my vision and looked at the style of my home in guiding his selections of cabinetry, flooring and shower tile; he brought in a few samples for me to select from which worked great for me as I didn't feel overwhelmed and was not troubled with going to see huge selections at supplier locations. The specific contractors that he brought in for painting, tile, carpentry and closet design/installation were all professional and provided excellent work. He and his crew were respectful of my home and my space (as I worked from home downstairs). I will definitely contact Mr. Novel for the next project.

Macvel International is a very professional home improvement and renovation company. My project entailed a great room floor over and a dormer addition. Demo to final product was turn key. The owner, Marty Novel was on the jobsite every step of the way. I have never done a project that was finish with in such detail. I am the one always left with a punch list at the end of the job. MAC VEL. Intl., has shown a positive and professional perspective of licensed contractors. On Mr. MacVel's initial inspection, he took his time and physically measured each & every room at least twice. He then took his time and explained each step that would be required for the renovation of our home. He immediately addressed issues or concerns that my wife and I had and on many occasions went the extra mile to ensure completion in a timely manner. He displayed his interest in a job being done correctly and provided assistance to his staff, if needed. My wife and I highly recommend this competent young man and his staff. They work hard and fast.

Marty’s work is phenomenal! He and his team built and installed cabinetry, added new interior trim, painted, installed lighting (added electrical outlets, recessed lighting and chandelier), painted and replaced the original builder door with a barn style door. Marty’s attention to detail is impeccable. I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. My terrace level room has been transformed into a cozy new space.

Bottom line up front: I would highly recommend MACVEL International for any home repairs or construction you may need. Marty and his team of Painters are some of the best professionals in the construction industry that I have worked with. And I do not say this lightly since I deal with General Contractors and Subcontractors on a daily bases, as a Construction Management Consultant. Marty personally checked on the progress of the Painters three or four times during the week long they were in my home painting. I also had minor repairs to two areas were plumbing pipes had leaked or were currently leaking which we did not realize until we opened the wall and he was able to get a plumber to my home on the day that we discovered the leak and made repairs. If I mentioned any issues or concerns Marty would make sure it was fixed or addressed. His painting subcontractor's team was professional and considerate, as myself and my wife were at home during the painting process. Again I highly recommend MACVEL International for any of your constructions needs.

I highly recommend Macvel International, LLC. Marty, the owner, and his team painted my kitchen cabinets, installed a tile backsplash in the kitchen, extended a wall between my living room and bedroom, installed a pocket door, built shelving for my laundry room and removed/replaced doors in my condominium. The quality of their work was excellent and Marty was extremely easy to work with. He and his team arrived early and on time each day and were flexible about any changes or additions I requested. I would definitely use them for future remodeling projects.

Highly recommend this contractor. Contractor checked on workers daily to make sure work was to his satisfaction. Marty is a very professional contractor.

Mr Marty did a great job putting hardwood floors in my condo living room and bedroom under the conditions of lock down and disruption in my building and the world. I would recommend him without question or hesitancy and look forward to another project with his firm.

I recently requested Marty’s services for some plumbing work at a rental property. He went to the site , figured out what services and supplies were needed and was ready with estimates within a couple of hours. He went out to purchase the necessary supplies and was able to quickly make the repairs . I have used Marty many times before and will continue to call on him as well as recommend him to others. Was able to quickly replace two roofs. He has previously repaired/replaced other roofs on other property I have and stands by his work. Cleans up nicely, no materials or debris left anywhere.

MACVEL International is an awesome company. It's owner, Marty Norvel, has loads of knowledge and integrity. He is highly professional with courteous manner. They repaired my ever leaking crawlspace, replaced the rotted out bathroom sub-floor, replaced missing floor joists, and installed new flooring. They, then, installed a new toilet. Also, they remediated mold in the crawlspace that had been caused by the plumbing leak. I am exceedingly happy with the excellent quality of the work and the promptness with which the work was done. Everything about the completion of the project was excellent. I hope to use them, again, for other projects.

Sadly we were not able to hire this company but I have met with a few people to get estimates and he was very professional and patient with regards to giving us info and spending time during the initial visit.

Macvel International did a beautiful renovation of my entire first floor. The kitchen now looks like it from the pages of House Beautiful. I love to cook and bake but wasn’t comfortable using my kitchen now after the renovation I enjoy hosting friends and family. The living room is now more spacious and comfortable. I have always wanted built in bookcases and thanks to Marty, I can now display my books and collectibles. Marty and his team were always respectful and I felt at ease having them in my home. When I had any questions or concerns Marty always took the time to respond in a timely matter. I highly recommend Macvel International.

He did a great job identifying my plumbing issue and fixing it. He also was informative about the process and prevention.

Tree fell on my garage. Hired Mr. Macvel and crew to replace complete roofing system, new header, electrical work, new garage door and opener, replaced some side boards and paint where needed to give a finish look. Macvel and crew did a excellent job, great knowledge and workmanship, on time each day, meet his dead line and budget.THANKS FOR A GREAT JOB.

I am a business owner and had a small electrical project to install some track lighting within my office. Marty showed up on time, was very professional, cleaned up once the work was done and completed the project within my budget. He did a great job and we were able to work without any major noise concerns. We will use him again if we have a need for any additional work in the future.

We could not be more pleased with our experience with MACVEL International. The project included a master bath remodel, removal of walls, hardwoods downstairs, carpet upstairs and painting. I hired MACVEL International to remodel my master bath & closet, place hardwood floors on my main level, replace hot water heater and other home projects and each time he did excellent work!. It was a very good experience working with MACVEL International who was referred to me by another contractor. My specific comments are on professionalism, customer service, quality of work and cost. PROFESSIONALISM- Mr. Norvel was prompt in meeting our scheduled timeline and actually completed the job well ahead of the original proposed deadline. He was courteous, respectful as well as easy going and willing to answer questions. He dressed in a manner that was not offensive and to the best of my knowledge, he did/does not smoke. As an aside, my personal irritation are contractors who have to stop to take a smoke break. CUSTOMER SERVICE - Mr. Norvel treated me like a top customer. I felt very at ease with him and his staff. He had full access to my house without any issues or incidents. He responded to text quickly and resolved any issues I had without any attitude. For example, he was willing to fix an issue with a door that turned out to be just a quick fix. However, he never gave any complaints about going back to the house to fix it. That's a great customer service skill! QUALITY OF WORK - Mr. Norvel is quite knowledgeable and I was satisfied with his work. All the areas of the house look great. Even though I'm downsizing, I almost want to stay in my house it looks so nice again. Mr. Norvel indicated he will stand by his work but I have not nor do I expect to have any issues. COST - All I have to say is that you get what you pay for. Out of the four bids I received, Mr. Norvel was on the higher side but still within my overall budget. However, I am happy that I selected him because he did what he said he would do and he did it professionally. I never had to go behind his work or feel like he was cutting corners. And for that convenience and peace of mind, it was worth the cost!

This firms general contractor Marty is excellent. As an Interior Designer I always look for construction firms that are licenses and insured to work with on my clients project. Marty always makes it easy when our firm hires Macvel International to work with on our clients with budgets that are large and small. They have helped produce some wonderful work for our clients both residential and commercial.

Marty Norvel of Macvel international is professional, trustworthy, and competitively priced. I've worked with Marty on many projects and every single time he comes in on budget and ahead of schedule, with his team of contractors I'm sure that any feat can be accomplished.

I hired MACVEL to remove a multi flue chimney, close in the roof and reroof my house. The roof was very old and had multiple leaks that had been patched over a long period of time and there was a lot of damage. They did the job within the time they stated they would, and also within the quoted price. I also added a few items while they were working and they accommodated my request. The roof looks great, and the property was left as clean and neat around the house as it had been before the roofing began. I would hire them again!
