Mione Family Remodeling

I would 10/10 recommend Mione Family Remodeling time and time again. Over the years they have continued to wow me and exceed my expectations with every project they have completed. Not only is the work exceptional, the employees are also extremely attentive, genuine, and hardworking. Incredible Company!!

I had a wonderful experience with Mione's. They completely renovated my entire kitchen and first floor bath. Plus half way into my projects a bunch of roof shingles blew off because of the strong winds, they fixed that too!

I would have given a negative review if possible. Owner said he was doing project, then subcontracted and never told me until I specifically asked. According to PA law, he was to have the subcontractor's information on the contracted, but did not. Should have pulled away from him at that time, but had 2 months put into this already and did not want to start over. He was contacting me daily about project until it started. Then I never heard from him again until I contacted him or until he wanted money. Project ran late because of weather but also because he pulled workers from my project to work on another project so he could get their money. My 10 day new siding project started about Dec 11th and finished Feb 19th. He had over 1/2 the money (enough to pay for all material and extra helpers) by the time the project started. At just shy of 1/2 way, he wanted another payment, which put him at 93% of the money. (He asked for money on a wed. assuming the project would be 1/2 on Friday. He wanted to pick up the money right away.) Unfortunately, the project was not at 1/2 so I did not pay and he got angry. I refused to pay until the house met CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS for the next pay. He threatened to pull the whole project and walk away. (At this point, 75% of the siding was off the house and 11 sqs and 2 pieces out of 22 sqs were on). When I asked once why no one was at my house working for 4 out of 5 nice days in one week, his response was "But there really shouldn't be a big rush. We haven't left your house exposed to the elements at any time. Plus it's not to my benefit if your job doesn't get done quickly, you haven't paid for the entire job up front, so your not being exploited for early pay, just a bit impatient." Very unprofessional!!! The project finished at about 215pm one day and he emailed me by 230 wanting the money. I never even had the opportunity to see the finished project and he wanted money. I will NEVER EVER recommend this contractor. DO NOT USE. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
