The job was to move a non-load bearing wall from our home. I reached out for quotes and Jay responded quickly. He came to the house and gave a quote that was very reasonable. Due to it being a small job in-between larger jobs he was able to have his crew start the same week. He was done ahead of schedule and on budget. I will use them again in the future.

My experience with Jay and Monova Homes was exceptional. We had a total bathroom remodel. From the very beginning, Jay was the most thorough and professional contractor we spoke with. He sent us his estimate within 24 hours of visiting the site in our home. I emailed him regularly with many questions and he usually responded within minutes! His workers were professional and skilled. They cleaned up before they left each day. Jay visited each day to check on progress and to make sure it was being completed correctly. Jay and his team did a wonderful job on multiple projects around our home including replacing flooring, renovating a 1/2 bath, installing recessed lighting, and building out cabinets/shelving and a new mantle for our fireplace. They also did some interior painting. Couldn't be more pleased with the work. Monova's lead carpenter is quite skilled, and he and his assistance were on time, arriving each day exactly when they said they would. Same with the flooring team. It was winter so they used our garage as a workshop for cutting, etc. and they actually left the garage cleaner than they found it. Hard pressed to find even a spec of sawdust left behind. Overall very good work and good craftsmanship with attention to detail. No problem working through the inevitable surprises that come up, the sort of things other contractors would ignore or argue about they helped work out a sensible solution. We have full confidence they not only did good work, but they did it right. Great experience from planning to finish. Highly recommend Monova Homes.

Monova Homes did a fantastic job on our master bathroom remodel. The crew was great. They were professional, showed up consistently and on time, protected our furniture and floors, completely the project quickly and very much to our satisfaction, and what little things we wanted fixed- they took care of immediately. Our contractor Jay was phenomenal and so easy to work with- we’d be more than happy to work with him and Monova again.

5 STARS for Jay and his team from Monova Homes. We started a full bathroom remodel during the supply chain slow down early 2022. Monova was able to move the start date at my request a couple times and maintain the price quoted. Once all the materials I was providing became available, Monova started work immediately. The team was professional and courteous and the quality of the workmanship excellent. There were no mysterious 'NO SHOW' days. The one day the team did not work, Jay had advised me in advance they would not be there. We had several contract changes that were requested by me and couple unforeseen differing site conditions. Monova worked through these changes at a reasonable cost and without any impact to schedule. We are 100% satisfied with their work and highly recommend Monova Homes. Frank B. Alexandria, VA

Had a master bath redone and updates to kitchen and some other general repairs including replacing a broken widow and broken sliding glass door. Fantastic job! Will be reaching out in future for two other bathrooms that will need to be done.

Jay and his crew were all vey professional but also very friendly and polite. They showed up on time and was constantly in contact. The price was very reasonable.

Working with Jay was great. We chose him for our master bedroom/bathroom remodel. He was on time, punctual, and always kept in contact with us to make sure we were up-to-date on how the project was going. He also went over any options and recommendations he thought of, informed of us any broken/missing materials (and he also took the initiative to get the replacements for these), and was very straightforward and easy to talk to. He would also check in on the project personally, every couple days -- which my wife and I greatly appreciate. We are VERY happy with our renovation! It still doesn't feel like it's our place.

We had three 1980's full bathrooms and a 1990's powder room renovated by Monova Homes this summer. I highly recommend them. I appreciate that the guys showed up on time, worked a full day, cleaned up afterwards and were respectful of us and our property. The communication when issues arose were handled in a professional manner. I would hire Jay and his team for other projects.
