Niko’s Contracting Inc. did a major kitchen, dining room, living room renovation including knocking down walls to make an open concept living area, removing old cupboards, doors and doorframes, lights and hardwood floors. They painted the walls and ceiling, installed vinyl plank flooring on both levels, new doors, door frames, lights, trim, drywall and reconfigured and made a feature wall out of shiplap. Niko is not only professional but very knowledgeable, reliable and solution oriented. It’s evident renovations are his passion…he treats your home as if it was his own. He spent numerous hours on two separate occasions with us explaining in great detail exactly what he was going to do to meet our needs. His quote was reasonably priced and well within our budget. There were several trades involved in the overall construction and Niko made sure the work was coordinated so that there were no delays and kept the work flowing so that it was completed in the timeframe he initially gave to us. He gave us a schedule of what tradesmen were coming on what days and stuck to it. He was always available to answer any questions and address any concerns from start to finish. He provided us with suggestions and options that were cost effective and did all the coordination with the kitchen installers which made it very easy for us. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Niko and his crew were courteous, attentive, efficient, responsive, provided quality craftsmanship and took pride in their work. They were always on time, worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner and always kept a clean working space. Niko and his crew exceeded our expectations. They delivered a quality project on time and within our budget. Niko will not leave until you’re 100% satisfied. We couldn’t be happier with how they transformed our home. We would definitely highly recommend to anyone looking to have a renovation done.

Niko was at all times extremely professional, responsive, reasonable, flexible, and collaborative. He worked hard to find creative solutions to unusual challenges as they arose. His crew was pleasant and competent. They cleaned up at the end of the day and were respectful of our time and space throughout the course of the foundation and basement repair process. What I most appreciated was that Niko respected his original estimates and first discussed any kind of scope change and the impact on pricing - prior to moving forward. I was also impressed with his familiarity with the construction and issues of the older homes in Wortley Village, London, Ontario (circa 1900), and his recommendations to prevent further issues.
