I hired and paid a substantial down payment and additional monies for removal of the the old siding. The team removed the old siding and put up some heating, but then Tyson claims that he doesn't have any money to move forward and I should pay more monies upfront. He received over $28k, spent about $5k on materials and labor, and claims that he doesn't have any money to spend on this project so it would have to be placed on hold.

I have actually worked with Ty and his crew on numerous occasions for different projects around the house. They come highly recommended as they completed the projects in a timely manner and to our satisfaction.

First, Ty Salazar, the owner and kitchen designer, is a great guy. The project was the gut tear out and remodeling of a small galley kitchen in a northeast Queens, NY, coop apartment. I had very specific and admittedly onerous requirements. Ty totally respected those to the extent possible, and where not worked with me collaboratively throughout the project to satisfy my needs and, just as importantly, those of the Coop, which were stringent. His workmen were all great as well, working as quietly and cleanly as practical. They delivered a stunning job exactly on schedule. When issues and setbacks occurred, as they always will, Ty came through with the required solutions. And where certain minor issues were revealed post completion, Ty responded quickly and positively to address them. This is not a Contractor who will take your money and run.
