Sal Oddo and Ray Kelleher, childhood friends from Collingdale, joined forces in 1976 to form O/K Builders and Remodelers, Incorporated. Sal brought ten years of non-union, residential experience while Ray contributed 11 years of union, commercial experience. Sal and Ray began operations out of a rented garage in Sharon Hill, serving customers in Delaware County and surrounding areas. Today, O/K Builders is made up of 14 full-time employees, two office assistants, and shop facility in the Collingdale area. Moreover, O/K Builders maintains a long list of satisfied customers. O/K Builders specialize in complete home improvements. The company offers design assistance, references and a one-year guarantee on all work. In addition, the company is fully licensed and insured as well as a member of the Better Business Bureau, Collingdale Businessmen’s Association, and National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI).
