Paul little construction

We hired Paul Little Construction for several projects including over 1,000 square feet new decking in back, remodeling our kitchen, primary bath, and fireplace as well as installing a Versa Lift in our attic. Paul has been top-notch to work with as he explains details from start to finish. In addition, we were informed in advance of the work process and timeline. He was extremely informative and patient with our many questions. He is also innovative and creative with design. It's obvious he is committed and dedicated to his craft. With each project, he was reliable and trustworthy. He followed up with us to make sure we were completely satisfied.

We hired Paul little construction for multiple jobs around our home and had issues with each one. We hired them to install a new back door, dog door, repair our column on the front porch, a new gate, fence and repair the doors on our shed. We had to call them several times to come out and properly paint and seal the front column, the fence after one year continues to fall apart which is right after their warranty expires which is unheard of for fencing but we should’ve caught that, nothing was done to our shed door but we were charged for it. The front gate has needed to be readjusted 3 times and one of the picketts recently just fell apart on the gate (one year old fence).The dog door leaked into the house and the owner admitted that he thought it might happen… well if he would’ve told us that we wouldn’t have had it installed. We asked if they could at least install a screen door for us and his response was for $125 installation fee… after all of the other drama with the initial repairs. He did have someone come out and fix our carpet to prevent mold but our carpet looked so bad we went ahead and sprung for new floors. Nothing was done to that shed door but we were still charged for it after reviewing the invoice recently. We would reach out and express concerns but would get brushed off for long periods of time when the “warranty” was close to expiring but he would come out and make temporary fixes to these problems like the fence. Well in the most recent case the fence we contacted him because a 2 year old fence and got falling apart like this and not functioning properly is unacceptable. He promised that he would try and contact Home Depot to replace the fence panels but I would have to keep following up and would receive the same response “he’s working on it”. He did come out and adjust the fence so we could get In and out of it… (yes due to rain the 2 year old fence could not be opened) but after awhile his responses became shorter and more rude (ie I’m on vacation). I’ve text him twice over the last week and a half to two weeks and he has stopped responding. When all of this started be mentioned a lot of staffing issues which could very be why this transaction didn’t match the reviews but I can’t believe after having all of this work done and spending all of this money I am having to look at having it redone just 2 years later.

Loved working with Paul Little and his team. Worked with Paul to update/flip our house. As a result of the work we did with Paul we sold our house within 2 days of being listed. Paul works with the best contractors ensuring quality and that it is done properly. Paul is creative, thoughtful and resourceful in his approach to projects. Always ready to collaborate and provide solutions. Would hire Paul again for another project!
