Sea Oaks Construction

Not knowing a soul when we moved from SI, NY to SSI, and after closing on our house, we had approximately 3 weeks before we had to move in. We needed a number of renovations before moving in including painting the entire interior. Brian Adamson was recommended to us and met us immediately after the closing at our house. We went over what was to be done and within the three weeks we had everyone from plumbers to painters, electricians to carpenters, tillers to glass men march through our house like ants to the anthill! All was accomplished with a minimum amount of angst, above board professionalism and the most courteous and friendly group of guys we have ever met.

We hired Bryan's company to renovate a house we purchased on Jekyll Island. We are very pleased with the work and recommend Sea Oaks most highly. Bryan put in new flooring, repainted, remodeled the bathrooms, etc. He and his team are knowledgeable and meticulous. On the one hand, Bryan ensures that he does a high-quality job with high-quality materials, while, on the other hand, he works hard to keep costs down. He is a cheerful, pleasant person and a real pleasure to work with. Whenever we need anything done at our house, he is the only person we call.

Sea Oaks did an outstanding job building our new house. Extremely knowledgeable about the building process, local building codes and prioritizing work so that the project came together as required. Bryan Adamson always answered the phone or returned our calls quickly. Texts and emails were also quickly returned. Bryan brought the house in when he said he would and followed up on the post construction punch list. He and his Team also had suggestions and good ideas as the project progressed. Sea Oaks and Bryan made the building process a pleasurable experience.

In the fall of 2012 we added a pool and outdoor kitchen all in a screen enclosure that attached to an existing house. We contracted with Sea Oakes Construction Co. to do the porch, and outdoor kitchen. Blue Haven Pools out of Jacksonville, FL for the pool and screen enclosure. Sea Oaks and Blue Haven work extremely well with each other to meet the needs of both contractors for their individual projects. Sea Oaks represented by Contractor Bryan Adamson was a pleasure to work with. His attitude was always upbeat and more than willing to listen to our suggestions. He went out of his way to stay on budget even when we asked for changes. Bryan would explain the cost of the change and make suggestion that could save us money while still satisfying our needs and wants. Bryan is very knowledgeable about construction and structure strength for the long term stability of the project. We passed all County inspections the first time inspectors came to the site. We also had a private structural engineer look over the project from time to time, and he was very complimentary of the work and could not give us any suggestion to improve the project. Bryan and all of his people were friendly and respectful at all times. Especially important to me was the fact that Bryan's people always cleaned up the area before they would leave the site. If I had any criticism it would be that Bryan didn't always meet deadlines. I will take some responsibility for that since I wanted to be on site when they were working. We had to travel during the project which cause us to fall behind other projects, and it was hard to get back on track. All in all I will use Bryan again and do recommend him highly to my friends! Bryan Adamson, Sea Oaks Connstruction, did an excellent job with the renovation of my kitchen installing granite countertops and tile backsplashes. He was easy to work with and assisted with helpful ideas for materials and design. The work fit our schedule and was promptly performed in the committed time. I will use Sea Oaks for future projects and recommend them to others.

All the workers were respectful and helpful. They offered and explained suggestions to improve our renovation without adding to costs. They actually saved on some costs in this manner. The work was completed in the time they projected in spite of a few slow phases due to weather and waiting on materials. Our renovation/ addition included an expanded kitchen and dining area, a new handicap accessible bathroom, and a walk in closet. It is so wonderful having not only a more functional home, but also a beautifully constructed home. The quality of the work was really impressive. I enjoyed working with Bryan and all those who took part in the renovation.
