After speaking with a few contractors Anthony Marino of Solutions HRI walked into our house and immediately my husband and I said this is the man we would like to work with.He made us feel like we could depend on him to do our remodel and anything else we needed him and his crew for. He said he had people for everything and he would supervise it all. He said he is onsite at all times because he too was a worker and that all proved to be true! He kept in contact with me when there was no one working at the house to let me know who and when they were coming. He made suggestions and gave us options all through the job. Everyone he suggested to work with were respectful and neat. When there were issues that came up he was right on top of the subcontractors so that we did not have to intercede. He did renovations on our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, all wood floors throughout, garage, driveway and incidentals. He invented ways to make things work even when cabinet company said things would be impossible.. Anthony took full responsibility of our renovation and we would highly recommend Solutions HRI to everyone! He was truly a pleasure to work with! We are very happy with our new kitchen and powder room and very impressed with Anthony and his team. We hired Anthony in the Spring of 2023 for a full demo of our kitchen and a remodel of the ground floor of our house in Manhasset, including moving openings requiring new headers, refinishing oak floors, new trim and paint, new lighting and the addition of new powder room in what was once a closet. Anthony was very responsive throughout the whole process, including getting back to us very quickly with a quote. We were amazed by how fast the project moved along once demo began in late June, 2023. Anthony was on site every day and was always available to answer any questions. He was also very good at coming up with solutions to any problems that came up along the way and made some excellent recommendations . He takes a lot of pride in his work and everything was completed to a very high standard. He is focused on making sure his clients are happy and consulted with us on every decision. Our entire project would have been finished in 6 weeks if there hadn’t been a problem with one of the cabinets being damaged by the supplier. Our new kitchen is beautiful and we are very happy that we chose Anthony as our contractor. We highly recommend him.

I recently worked on renovating our basement and I highly recommend Anthony at Solutions HRI. I read other positive reviews about Anthony, and I agree with everything that was mentioned: In summary, Anthony is a perfectionist who strives to get the job right the first time so that you don't worry about it later on. Our finished basement was pretty much in the ruins after taking in water from Ida and us waterproofing it afterwards: Building a French drain is a very messy, destructive affair for those who have never gone through it before. Renovating the whole basement was a very big project for us, and I contacted several contractors for their quotes. Other than the dollar amount quoted (which of course, is always an important consideration), I wanted to make sure that the contractor will do quality work. I have renovated the basement for my previous house, and I know firsthand saving some money on the front-end doesn't mean anything if you find faults with the work later on. My initial hesitation with Anthony was that he wasn't cheap: Amongst the quotes that I received, his quote was definitely on the higher end. What was very confusing in this process was that the range for the quotes was very wide. Some of the quotes seemed somewhat optimistic in terms of workload required, and there were some quotes that just made me scratch my head. However, after engaging in several conversations with Anthony and after receiving other, more reasonable quotes, I felt that Anthony would be the best choice for the job. And I was right. What I appreciated about Anthony was that he looked at the job as if it was his own house. There were many, many decision points that came about during the job. Anthony presented options and made recommendations. Having gone through them and now that the job has been mostly completed for the past few months, I think we made really excellent choices. As for his quote, after experiencing the quality of his work, I believe they are very reasonable. In my experience, a lot of the contractors just choose to take the easy way out: They don't like to deal with potential issues that come up. I understand it's much easier for the contractors to just cover up and make things look nice. The common theme for me in my previous experience had been that the job looks nice immediately after it's done, but I find faults with the job later on and regret the choice I made. With Anthony, he opened up the issues so I can make informed decisions even if that resulted in complicating the job for him. A friend once told me that a contractor is good if you can stand them at the end of the job. With Anthony, I am already thinking of next home improvement project. This seems to be the theme with Anthony: He tells me that a lot of his projects are from repeat customers (for different projects, of course). My husband and I recently hired Anthony to convert a basement closet into a full bathroom. He was extremely easy to work with and exceptionally helpful throughout all phases of the project - from obtaining a permit to picking out bathroom fixtures. While working on this remodel, Anthony ended up helping us with numerous home improvements along the way. We cannot say enough great things about Anthony, his employees, and the quality of their work. We are already starting discussions regarding our next home improvement projects and look forward to working with Anthony in the near future.

We had a 10 x 16 bathroom with a major leaking problem in the walk-in shower. Two plumbers advised us to redo the entire bathroom since it was over 10 years old and we'd never be able to match the tiles. We've used Anthony before with great success on other projects after we moved back from Virginia. He, again, did not disappoint us. He didn't stop until he matched the tiles. Our toe kick heaters never provided proper heat in the room. Anthony recessed a new heater into the wall and created a beautiful marble cover which matched the marble on the shower seat. It is a show stopper and our bathroom is toasty warm for the first time in 10 years. The shower floor was compromised. The beams deteriorated. He repaired all the damage. Anthony was able to remove only a portion of the shower wall tiles and replace them with the new matching tiles. You cannot tell where the old ones end and the new ones begin. The shower floor is a mixture of marble tiles that match the border in the main portion of the bathroom. It is accented with a beautiful border of small, multicolored marble tiles. I smile every time I look at the shower floor. Noone could tell there was a repair to the room. In fact, the bathroom looks better than it ever did. The shower is magnificent and totally safe. Anthony at HRI Solutions was amazing to work with. He was professional, courteous, and hard-working. He was on-site every day with his crew. He finished my kitchen renovation right on schedule and the whole project was completed within 4 weeks. He kept within the quoted price for the project and consulted with me on any issues and changes throughout the project. He was flexible and great at trouble-shooting. Anthony was very focused on making sure that we were happy with the final project. His crew worked very neatly – cleaning up at the end of everyday and left the site safe and clean. He was also very good at making suggestions to improve the project such as fixtures, lighting, etc. Anthony has also completed several other projects for me including converting a bathtub to a walk-in shower and basement window well repair to prevent flooding, etc. He is a contractor that can work on any aspect of home renovation and repair. I would undoubtedly use Anthony on any future projects and recommend him for anyone looking to complete any kind of home renovation.

I would highly recommend Anthony/ Solutions HRI. He is a professional and a true craftsman who cares about the quality of his work. He is honest, charges a fair rate and delivers on his promises. We had purchased a house that needed work in the summer of 2021 (during the pandemic real estate/construction high) and needed to move in within 4 weeks. The backdrop was a nationwide lumber/supply/labor shortage & delivery delays so we worried we would not be able to find someone to get the job done. We lucked out when we met Anthony. He gave us a fair price and had stellar reviews on Yelp/ Homeadvisor/ Angie's List, so we booked him hoping for the best, but not really expecting him to finish on time. Anthony and his crew literally started work the day after we signed. In 4 weeks, they renovated 2.5 baths, refinished wood floors, painted the whole interior of the house, installed barn doors, updated the fireplace, replaced staircase banisters, built a built-in bookcase and shelves--- and fixed many random things in the house (wonky door knobs/ bad lighting/ etc.) Despite the short turn around, the craftsmanship was on point. Anthony and his crew worked tirelessly, did not take short cuts and took the time to do the prep work necessary for a job that would last. We are very happy with the finished product and feel confident that we can be here for the next 15 years and not have to worry about anything breaking. A bonus was that Anthony and his crew made the effort to work discreetly (were respectful of neighbors, no loud music or smoking) and also neatly (the work site was always neat, safe and organized.) He is also very knowledgeable and gave me pointers on design and function (random things that someone moving from the city would not think of.) Anthony was a pleasure to work with-- and we are already talking to him about future projects. We would recommend him 100%!

Anthony has done remodeling for us in the past and we were always very pleased with his work, so this time we asked him to completely remodel an older home that we purchased as our "forever home." Anthony took the house down to the studs moving stair cases, and adding rooms. The house needed all new HVAC, windows and doors, pluming and electric. Anthony handled it all. He stamps his name on every project and brings a hard-to-find level of excellence and craftsmanship to each project. He takes the time to truly understand what you want from the project and the functions and design you are looking for - even our two dogs rave about the dog shower and mudroom he built for them. We enjoyed working with Anthony and love our new home! We would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who delivers what they commit to.

I cannot rave enough about Anthony and his crew. I am an interior designer and own Grunberger Interiors Inc. I have seen many different qualities of workmanship and was looking for excellence and craftsmanship when it came to renovating my own home. I redid my master bedroom and bathroom and 2 additional bathrooms. Anthony was a pleasure to work with, and this experience has led me to hire him on an upcoming condo renovation, and I’m sure, many other future projects. His attention to detail and superior standards really impressed me. His crew were all delightful and hard working. The work was completed on time and everyone was reliable and hardworking. Anthony has done many projects for us. This time we had him design and build a custom fireplace mantel and surrounding marble. Once again he exceeded our expectations. It's difficult to enumerate all of the important things to look for in selecting a contractor to do your home remodeling project, but I will try here. We don't review things generally, but our experience with Solutions, HRI compels us to pass along our great experience to the person looking for someone who: 1--responds quickly when you attempt to contact them. 2--knows all aspects of the work to be done with cost-saving or enhancing options. 3--is courteous, organized, and clean 4--highly skilled in craftmanship. 5--demonstrates professional comportment and respect. 6--prices jobs appropriately. 7--the boss is on the job!!! He was here every day working alongside his team! 8--has a conscience and cares about your satisfaction. 9--punctual and prepared to be on the job thru completion.
