Alex was the perfect contractor for our project and this was evident from our initial meeting. We requested several bids and walk-throughs on our project and Alex excelled over everyone. He was very clear on how the project would be priced (he was very fair and transparent) and he immediately shared his expertise on the issue we were having and the best way to solve it. Alex was committed to finding the flagstones and border stones necessary for our project, maintained excellent communication throughout and very open to questions and concerns we had on any matter. He and his team did an excellent job completing our project in a timely manner, respecting the job site (our home) and cleaning up each day. Alongside his technical skills, I found Alex's patience and client first approach very comforting to work with as this is our home and the outcome of the project was extremely personal to us, so his understanding of this and how he addressed our concerns along the way was perfect. He was there with us all throughout the project to talk about any issues we may have, changes we like and designs we were thinking - which he willingly offered and accepted our decisions in the end! Project: We had several thousand square feet of flagstones coming loose and lifting around our property. We needed someone to secure the stones back to the concrete pad and ensure the design (as complexed as they were in some areas) was maintained. We also had matching coping stones around our pool coming loose. While working with Alex, we took the opportunity to replace the flagstones on the driveway and add new borders to modernize our backyard and sections of our driveway.

Alex is fast, knowledgeable, organized and has terrific attention to detail. His experience working with exterior materials is impressive, and his ability to manage a renovation from top to bottom makes him a great asset for all jobs!

Alex and his team did an extensive project in our ensuite bathroom and work in the backyard. He is professional and fair. He was quite knowledgeable in multiple trades and always answered our questions along the way.. He completed several drawings for us to chose from when giving us landscaping ideas for the backyard.

Have worked with Strongback many times over the years from small renovations, landscaping, bathroom reno’s, decks, fencing etc to full house gut jobs, basement dig outs and room extensions. Alex knows his stuff and gets it done fairly and with super high quality! Will continue to work with Strongback going forward and refer Alex to friends and family.
