In the Fall of 2015 we hired Terra Firma to do a large number of home improvements. He had done work at my old house and I liked the work and the overall cost. Plus he gives a 20% discount for return customers. We hired him to: replace the roof, replace all windows, re-do the master bathroom, finish the basement with a new bathroom, bedroom and media room, and build a new paver patio with fire pit. All of this work took about two months and, overall, we were happy with the cost, quality and our interactions with him. He was accommodating to our overall vision and also offered us many suggestions to improve the end product as well. If we didn't like something he would make it right. He even came back twice after the job was done to do a touch up with the paint and to re-do the bannister that was loose on the wall. He also went over and above what the contract stated on different occasions. One example- He set up the electronics for the TV and the surround sound in the basement at no charge. That was a huge help to us. If I had to offer any improvement suggestions, his billing statements could be stated more clearly. For the amount of money we were paying for these projects and how little wiggle room we had over the budget, I monitored the budget vs the spend very closely and it was very hard for me to figure out the spend vs the work completed using the invoice tracking system he used. But he sat with me at regular intervals and at the completion of the project to go through all of the financials. I would definitely recommend him to others (and have) and will most likely use him again for future projects.

We love our new windows! This summer my husband and I bought a home built in 1924 that had its original Windows. While they did provide some charm to the house, they were not all functional and very drafty (we discovered as it got colder). After shopping around, we easily found that Terra Firma was the company to go with. James Greene was the most professional and experienced person we met with. there were 21 Windows in the house we wanted to replace and Terra Firma gave us the best cost estimate (which actually ended up being more than the actual cost). James provided us with several examples to choose from and ideas to keep with the overall look of the house (which included many different types throughout). Terra Firma kept with the deadline and delivered an amazing product. I wish that I could include a picture here but I can't figure out how:) Take my advice and go with Terra Firma. You won't be disappointed.
