Carlos and his crew did a recent renovation on our bathroom. Despite a few changes along the way, Carlos kept us informed and updated on a daily basis. He notified us when crew members were coming and communicated via text and phone daily. He and his crew were polite, courteous, and left the job neat and picked up. We are very pleased with our "new" bathroom.

We loved working with Carlos and his team at U.S. Work Building & Remodeling for our comprehensive home renovation. We needed to refresh our newly purchased home (built in the 80s) and Carlos made it beautiful and modern! His team completely remodeled our kitchen (my favorite part of the home now), master bedroom and bathrooms, redid all of our floors and lighting, reworked all of the plumbing and electrical work and more. They worked with our vision and helped us pick out color combinations, tiles and paint, and they delivered quality work that was done quickly. Carlos is a wonderful project manager - very patient, responsive, organized and punctual from start to finish. Having a team like them made things so much less stressful! The quality of work was impeccable and we couldn't be happier with the result. I highly recommend contacting the team for any project big or small.

U.S. Work Building & Remodeling did a great job remodeling two bathrooms in our home and we would certainly use them again for any future building projects. We have just finished an intensive house renovation project with Carlos (and his company U.S. Work) and we cannot be more pleased!
He is reliable, trustworthy and his workmanship is superb. Our renovation touched every surface of the house, including a new kitchen and new bathrooms. We really appreciated his great design ideas and also his flexibility to add additional items to the list. We were away much of the time and he kept us well informed with phone calls, photos and face time videos. His subcontractors and businesses he used were also excellent - the kitchen store, the granite store, his tile supplier, his painter. Our house is absolutely beautiful now and we will use Carlos for all our future projects. I highly recommend him and his company!

From beginning to end, Carlos and his crew made our bathroom renovation a completely positive experience! The tilers did a fabulous job, even making suggestions on improvements to our design! They were right! The painter is such a perfectionist, coming back to touch up a few spots, as was the plumber.
We appreciate the professionalism of this crew, which we have not always seen in other construction companies. Everyone was pleasant and polite! We would highly recommend this company.

Carlos started my kitchen on time and there was always someone here working on our project. He always answered my text messages promptly and was able to answer my questions. Carlos and his team installed 2 new bathrooms in our Chatham home They were extremely professional, helpful and timely through every step of the project. They were also very clean and left the project neat each day.
Carlos was very responsive to every text and phone call and worked to ensure that we were happy with every aspect of the project. His ability to solve some structural issues and work with in our existing space saved us some major expenses. We definitely highly recommend Carlos and would not hesitate to use him for any future project. In addition to his professionalism, Carlos is genuinely a nice guy to have in your home.
If we had one recommendation it would be to have a discussion in advance of each stage of the project on a timeline for materials. In a very positive way, Carlos was very timely in completing stages of the project. His commitment to a start and finish date were amazing.

This company and Carlos are the best. I highly highly recommend them. Carlos came into our project that was just started and was our savior. We had to fire the previous contractor and were extremely fortunate to find Carlos. He has a fantastic team that works for him, they worked tirelessly and are polite and a pleasure. Carlos came in and finished the job before the expected time frame. We could not believe it. Carlos is a pleasure to work with. He is pleasant, always a smile on his face, a real professional. We would call him during the job and he would be there within hours. His work is top notch. He never disappointed us.
I cannot say enough good things about Carlos. After our previous bad experience, Carlos was a breath of fresh air.
I strongly recommend U.S. Work Building & Remodeling.

I am pleased to write a recommendation for Carlos Santos and his crew. They renovated our small bathroom and did an excellent job. Every member of the team did exceptional work. The workers that installed our tile did an incredible job. The drywall and painting were done perfectly. An old leak damaging our kitchen was repaired and the ceiling was plastered to match the existing texture. When it was complete, we could not tell there was ever damage. All the finishing was done with attention to detail. In addition, the work area was always left clean at the end of the day. All members of the team were polite and wonderful to have in our home.
Carlos always returned our calls promptly and was quick to answer any questions. We are so happy that we selected him to complete our new bathroom. We would definitely use him and his team again for any project!

Our Cape Cod home is about fifty years old and was in need of some updating. Carlos and his crew were up to the task. They are a very professional, hard working and experienced group. They show up on time, work diligently while on site, and ensure the work was to the satisfaction of the owners. They are an experienced group of crafts men and women and take pride in their work. As a Chicago based interior designer, I have worked with a host of contractors over the course of my career. Hands down, Carlos and his team were the most extraordinary to work with. I contracted with Carlos to demo and renovate a full sized bath. Very quickly, I realized that Carlos was unlike so many builders with whom I have worked--- when Carlos said he could get the job done, he moved heaven and earth to do so. Carlos, under extreme time pressure was not only able to finish a beautiful bathroom for us, he took our basement (which was original to the 1940's house and the stuff that nightmares are made of) and plastered, drywalled, created a drop ceiling, painted, installed brand-new flooring, and re-built an entire staircase in record breaking time. He transformed our basement into true usable space. Carlos is a true pleasure to work with---a wonderful communicator, a wildly reliable, hardworking, fairly-priced and honest builder who does absolutely beautiful work. He worked wonderfully with other sub-contractors, and was responsive always to my questions. It is a wonder that Carlos stayed true to his timeline-- while the rest of the world is experiencing material and labor shortages, Carlos added such incredible value to our home, in such an accelerated timeframe. I cannot -- as a home owner and as an interior design progressional--recommend Carlos more highly. He is a true gem.

Carlos and his team were incredibly professional. They were prompt, tidy and provided exceptional results. I have never worked with a contractor who managed their time as well as Carlos. Not only did he keep us on track, he pushed us to keep the project moving. If you are going to work with him, do your homework and be prepared by having your preferences and fixtures chosen in advance. He was very accommodating as I changed and added to the project along the way, and I still never had to wait for him or his team. From the beginning to end, he was professional and efficient with every step.

Carlos & team completed a bathroom renovation & window replacements for us in the spring. The project involved remodeling a bathroom, relocating laundry machines, replacing multiple windows, and creating a large shower with a bench. The remodel was completed within budget & looks beautiful! We're very happy with how it turned out, and the tilers in particular did a really great job. Carlos is very responsive & easy to work with, and we wouldn't hesitate to contact him again when we're ready to move forward with other remodeling projects.

We hired U.S. WORK Building and remodeling for a quite major renovation of our Cape house. It involved breaking 2 walls to make the dinning-room, kitchen and family room one big open space, as well as adding a sliding door access to the deck. We were impressed by Carlos at all points, from the first contact, when he provided his estimate fast, to the last steps of the reno, when he left the house in a pristine shape! Carlos kept on time and on budget. He was also very helpful in guiding us to suppliers (countertop, tiles), and came up with creative options and proposals for those details you miss when you do such a reno: from fixing those unexpected problems you find when opening walls, to making everything look unified in this new open space, such as door frames and even ceilings (which were not at the same height!). We came several times to check on the progress, and each time it was a huge change and improvement. We appreciated how Carlos was keeping us in touch with advancements and sending pictures of the progress throughout the project. Seeing this, we decided to also update our bathroom, and Carlos did yet another amazing job. We’re already having plans for renovating other parts of the home with Carlos and US WORK Building and Remodeling. Best home remodeling experience ever.

We've been working with Carlos and US Work since 2015. Carlos and his team are incredibly hard working, honest, and do spectacular work. They did a makeover of our Cape Cod Home in 2015 and then we asked him to add 2 new bathrooms in 2016. We contracted with him again to build a new shed for us this past year and some general fixes. Every time, Carlos is always available for questions, input, and guidance. When he tells you something will work, I believe him and he never disappoints. We have always been happy with his work and he is a great person as well. Thoughtful, collaborative, creative, with fair pricing and adherence to deadlines. Carlos put up a new ceiling (dry wall) for us in our basement, and did some painting in the upstairs of our cottage. He also fixed a door (so it opens and closes now) and took off some Old brackets on the roof. He does excellent work in a timely manner. We were on a tight schedule to get our cottage listed....afterwards it only took two days to go under agreement!

We worked with Carlos Santos and his team initially to replace our two bathrooms. His work was professional and communication was timely. He made sure we were 100% satisfied with our results. After the initial project, we've since contracted with him several times and his team has installed an outdoor shower, replaced our roof, and replaced leaking skylights. Any time we've had a problem with our house, Carlos is the person we've called, and he's come through for us time and time again. He is honest and kind, and he shows up when he says he will, including during a storm while one of our windows was leaking. His team is tidy and efficient. We continue to recommend him to our neighbors and plan to work with him as future projects come up at our house. We recommend him without any reservations.

We could not have been more pleased with the work Carlos Santos and his team of true professionals performed and completed on our new composite deck system! They are hard working and dedicated and their attention to every last detail was amazing. US Works did an outstanding job on our bathroom remodel. Communication was excellent and we were kept updated with pictures as the project progressed. They were very timely and clean at the worksite. We will definitely be hiring them in the future for other projects.

Amazing! Carlos and everyone who works for him is incredible. The tiler, the plumber, the painter- they were all excellent. The quality of all the work went above and beyond my high expectations. Carlos is so wonderful to work with! He has great ideas about your design job, he is professional and kind. I cannot say enough great things about him. I refer him to anyone I hear is looking for an excellent contractor. Everyone cleaned up after working so you will not come home to a big mess either! His prices are reasonable. He also works very quickly and you have amazing quality as well. We are very happy and will use him again.

Very pleased with the promptness and high quality of the work. Carlos re-shingled our roof on the Cape, and also repaired some rotten wood that he found. The design and color of the shingles was more charming than we expected, and I have already recommended him to a friend. Although we were off-Cape when the work was being done, he kept in touch and sent photos. Very professional.

His workmanship was extraordinary. His attention to detail and design knowledge turned my basement into a beautiful living space.
Carlos and his team were professional and always on time. They worked long hours to get the project done. They were always courteous and accommodating.

He was a pleasure to work with, keeping me appraised of any issues throughout the process and stayed with the project from start to finish as he said he would. We worked with Carlos after an air-conditioning leak in the attic of our summer home caused damage to the ceilings and flooring on multiple floors of our house. After reaching out to Carlos for a price estimate for the repairs and painting, I heard back from him immediately and his pricing was fair and straight-forward.
During the repair project, Carlos remained in continual contact with us, sending pictures of the progress and quickly answering any questions that we had along the way. I will work again with Carlos the next time we have a similar needs, and I highly recommend his services to others.

If you want someone knowledgeable, responsible, courteous, timely, and trustworthy U.S Work Building is the company for you. A complete renovation was done in the basement and what a great job! Another big plus was that the area was kept as clean as possible during the renovation. I am very picky (trim corner cuts matching, sheet rock seams, etc.) and very happy that they put in the time and effort to do it like it was their own home. Before leaving we reviewed the completed job together and made sure I was happy with the project. I will definitely use again.

When I had questions concerning product selection, they provided solid answers based on their experience with companies and their product selection and quality.
In addition, this company was easy to contact and returned my calls and answered any questions I had in a timely fashion.

I worked with Carlos on the renovation interior and exterior of a home. He respected my design and finishes and was excellent with all his work. It included full first floor renovation, kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining room, and two bedrooms. The exterior was a full renovation, including the a garage and deck. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable general contractor and works closely with the owners and myself, the interior designer. He finished on time as promised and was happy to take on more than the original project entailed. I would highly recommend Carlos' services.

Excellent job! We have known Carlos and worked with Carlos on our house in Harwich. Carlos installed a bedroom, windows, eliminated a door to the driveway and shingled the exterior to match the other shingles and drywalled the interior, built and installed a beautiful fireplace mantle and removed our old deck and replaced with a new deck. All work was done promptly and neatly.

Carlos and his team did a complete renovation of this Cape Cod Vacation Rental home on a very tight budget. They painted, did new floors, did 2 brand new bathrooms, finished the basement offering plenty of space for use and created a separate laundry room. They fixed up garage with painting walls and floors for more use. The owner was very happy and not did it rent at a higher rate consistently but is sold later in the year at a top price. Carlos and his team are very easy to work with and most responsible and kept to the budget.
