This company always does a great job for us. They are always willing to go above and beyond to get the job done right.

In May 2016, I contacted Weatherseal for insulation work at my house. The sales person, Dennis, came and measured and told me that I'd get an estimate through email. After, many emails to Dennis, I finally contacted James, the owner's son, and I finally got a response in August 2016. The work was started on Sept 12 and 13th. On Sept 15th, I emailed Dennis to ask if the work was to be completed and he assured me that someone would be there to plug the holes and spackle and replace the siding boards. On Sept 18, I again contacted Dennis to inform him that no one had showed. And his response to me was "that they charge me for the job not how long it will take." During the work, the tech broke some vases and picture frames, and when I informed Dennis of this, he stated they are not responsible for any damage. Which seems absurd because the company is bonded and insured. I have called several times and my calls are either ignored, or I am told that someone will call me back. As of Sept 30th, my house exterior looks like a mess. My concerns are also that this has taken so long to get done, that now we are changing seasons and any exterior paint will not stick to the siding.

They were pretty easy to work with. Everyone there is incredibly nice. I did have an issue with them not doing exactly what I thought they were going to be doing. This could have been either a communication error or an error on part of their installers but when I called the office they were quick to remedy the situation and make it right with no push back.

Through the Charlottesville LEAP people, Albemarle Heating conducted a free full energy audit of our home. Not surprisingly, our home was not very energy efficient. I assumed our high heating bills was due to our large older windows.-not an issue, it was determined. They found two major issues: a major insulation design flaw and a heating/cooling system that ran very loud was near the end of its service life (18 years). Albemarle Heating installed a Trane Heat Pump/Air conditioning system with new and improved air intakes, improved main air duct, and a programmable thermostat. WeatherSeal blew additional insulation in the attic and used spray foam insulation in the attic eaves. LEAP conducted a follow up AIR FLOW Test. The test failed. Air leakage was the same. WeatherSeal got reengaged quickly and found another original insulation design flow. They fixed it quickly. The next LEAP test showed a significant reduction in air flow. Albemarle Heating helped us to get all of the Commonwealth rebates and the special zero financing on the entire project. Our home is much more comfortable with energy costs reduced 50%. What a team: LEAP, Albemarle Heating and Air, and WeatherSeal. Excellent service with a great result. Our home is now a certified Energy Star home. I highly recommend them. Christian Pechuekonis
