Wood Building and Development

We used Wood Building & Development to remodel our entire home inside and out. The decision to use WB&D was quite easy after we met with Walt. He has an amazing aesthetic eye and ideas that are unique and relevant with the times. He was incredibly responsive to our questions before we started the rebuild...during the build...and most importantly, Walt was easily accessible after the project was complete. Beyond all, Walt was reliable in his work and ethical through the process. I would recommend WB&D to anyone at anytime!!!

We remodeled our entire home in 2009 and used Wood Building and Development. The thing that was most impressive to me, and the reason why I'll use them in the future, is the creativity of the owner Walt Wood. Building or remodeling a home requires a LOT of decision making and it can be very stressful when it comes to choosing what materials to use, what paint color, etc... Before starting the project my wife and I had some ideas and knew the look we were wanting but we had no idea how to make our ideas a reality. During the remodeling process we were able to communicate with Walt on a daily basis and we would tell him our ideas and he'd make it all come together. He actually made the process fun instead of stressful which is no easy task and the end result was exactly what we wanted! Thank you for your talent and creativity!

We hired Walt Wood to do a major kitchen remodel, including two bathrooms, and new flooring throughout the majority of the house. We hit the jackpot with his company. Not only is he a talented contractor, but he is brilliant in the design department. There were several times when we were stumbling on ideas and decisions, when he would offer his "eye for design". His crew was pleasant to work with and I refer him to others regularly.

I hired Wood Building and Development when we first moved into our home and then again 1.5 yr later to remodel our master bedroom and bath. There's no one else like Walt. He takes the time to understand what I want and then adds his own design ideas to make it even better. He keeps an eye on costs and always lets me know when I'm making a decision that is going to affect the final bill. I cannot say enough about his incredible style...I get so many compliments on the exact things he suggests. It's NICE to have a contractor who also has an eye for design. His integrity is above reproach. If there's one negative it's that he is so in demand in my area! He takes such good care of his clients that everyone refers him. I shouldn't even be writing this review because it'll make him less available! But he finishes on time and with such a great result that it's worth the effort.
