Honestly I’m not sure what date to use as completion because this handyman never completed because of total incompetence! I hired him to install banisters on my staircases which he installed incorrectly and dangerously! One of the banisters fell out within two weeks, while my special needs child was holding onto it! He never found the studs and screwed into plaster and lath walls! He also was supposed to replace my basement steps with laminate. Instead he piecemealed vinyl pieces to the steps and ended each step with a metal strip that he cut, leaving incredibly sharp edges on each step! He screwed the straps in with screws that are raised, extremely dangerous!! The stairs started falling apart within weeks! In my first text Don stated he does this sort of work all the time. When I questioned him as he was installing the mess he said I haven’t done steps in quite some time!
