Brint is a second generation home builder that was started on 1985. Brothers, Brian and Clint, have taken their father's example of quality, honor, and integrity to heart and continue to operate Brint with those same values today. The first home built by Brint was in 1985. It is located in the Sandpiper subdivision and, in spite of Hurricane Ike and other major tropical storms, still stands to this day. In fact, over 90% of the homes we have constructed survived the devastation of Ike. Each of these homes are testaments to the construction practices we employ on a daily basis. We strive to incorporate the best products available on the market including James Hardie siding, Tech-shield roof decking, southern yellow pine lumber, engineered concrete slabs and stainless steel fasteners. We were the first builder on the peninsula to utilize all galvanized nails in our framing and stainless steel nails on all exposed areas. Additionally, Brint was the first to insist on wrapping the entire frame structure in plywood for added rigidity. All of these concepts have been our standard building practices since 1985 and have now become standard throughout the industry. Additionally, Brint was the first to utilize stainless steel through bolts to fasten the home to its piling system and we remain one of the few builders in the industry who do so.
