Deadwood Construction is awesome! They are easy to work with and down to earth. This I find super useful when dealing with stressful situations. They are always helpful and present great solutions when needed.

We moved in early July and decided we needed to completely overhaul the tract kitchen for our busy family of 6. Deadwood Construction was one of three General Contractors we we're interested in when renovating out kitchen and we're so glad we picked them. Tim met with my husband and I in our home and listened to our requirements. He was super knowledgeable as we showed him what we wanted done and punctual. Our renovation required updating windows, knocking down walls, assessing structural requirements, constructing new walls and moving appliances. We chose Deadwood Construction over the other two contractors for their upfront honest discussion about cost, schedule and overall dedication. The cost was slightly above the others, but it was much more realistic. We met with one of their top carpenters and managers, Dustin, at breakfast and were comfortable with going forward with the renovation. We discussed a timeframe and made a calendar for what should be done by what days. If there was a hiccup, Tim was on top of it early and let me know in advance of the schedule change. The framer he used was top notch, the permit employee from the county came by and saw who it was and knew the work was solid. It helps that Tim and Dustin know and selectively choose their own people to do the best jobs. One of the biggest advantages were the communication, I was able to get ahold of Tim or Dustin at anytime, he even let me know when they were going on vacation. There was one or two times that the wrong part was ordered or brought to the house, but it was quickly taken care of. We did the renovation thru Christmas and they even gave us countertops and a working stovetop for cooking during the holidays. Each sub contractor that was brought in was top notch and if that person wasn't available, Tim seemed to have a rolodex of numbers on his phone of contacts. We worked closely with one of their favorite architects and loved his insight and strategies for an open concept kitchen for a larger family. Tim worked the permits both architecturally and structurally with the county. We really liked working with them, that we decided to redo our entire living space floors to an awesome luxury vinyl that he found. We also updated our fireplace to a more modern look with a modern polished concrete hearth. And lastly, we put in french doors for a window for easy access to our garden and patio area. Tim gave us high and low options for each item, whether it was countertops or floors or kitchen drawer handles. Tim and Dustin made themselves available to meet met several times at the kitchen appliance shops and floor stores for consultations. One part I really loved was the finished carpentry, we bought reclaimed douglas fir beams from San Luis Obispo and their carpenter spent hours engineering and making them perfect for open shelves. They are by far my favorite aspect of the kitchen and his experience paid off big time. We will hire Deadwood to redo our staircase and upstairs when we're ready and gladly refer him anytime someone is looking for a small updating or a major renovation.

My sister and I inherited a house from our mother. It hadn't been touched since being built in the 50's, obviously needed a lot of help. Tim and Dustin did a fantastic job. They were very helpful with concepts and colors. All work was done on schedule and within the quoted prices. The best part was the communication. Tim was always available to answer questions and kept us informed of progress even more than necessary. I have dealt with contractors in the past and never had a better experience. Deadwood helped us with a bathroom remodel and a number of other projects involved in restoring a 100-year old farmhouse. We were out of town, which meant communication was tough and we had to rely completely on Tim and his team. They sent us photos of the progress so we could see exactly what was going on. They were on time and on budget - pretty much a miracle in the world of contractors!

Our office had a small remodel and we hired Deadwood Construction to demo a wall. The guys were on time and resoectful. They cleaned up after themselves every time they came. The manager, Dustin, came after the job was done to make sure it met the Deadwood standard. Great guys, honest and focused on doing it right!

Had Dustin do some finish carpentry work on several house projects I was involved with over the past few years. I have absolutely no complaints. He did a great job. The home buyers seemed to be very pleased also.
