About Us

Duensing Construction was founded in 1992 by Scott Duensing, who already had a thriving remodeling business in the historic Central Neighborhood district of Traverse City. Demand for custom home building formed his new home division, DesignCraft Homes, over a decade ago. Duensing Construction and DesignCraft Homes now serve the greater Grand Traverse region and are distinguished, long-time members of the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area.

Scott Duensing is a true professional with an eye for the details. His entire crew was just great. Scott kept the communication with us open and up to date. He kept the schedule rolling so our remodel was finished on the timeline established and within budget. We are so happy with the end product--a new kitchen, dining and living room space. It has transformed our home.
