I purchased a new home from LaChapelle Homes. During windy days, on three occasions roof shingles were blown off the roof. The last time two bundles of shingles were needed to make the required repair. Every effected shingle had been nailed approximately 1.5" above the marked nailing line on the shingles. Because the shingles were nailed where the shingles are only single layer, they rip off the roof. The entire roof was nailed improperly. It is a total installation failure, and the entire roof needs to be re-shingled. Kip LaChapelle (owner of LaChapelle Homes) refuses to discuss the issue.
