We discovered and contacted Langer Customer Builders via Houzz in December 2017. Roger called us back immediately and we began the process of creating the plans and estimates for our new home in January 2018. The design phase continued for approximately 6 months and concluded with us contacting many of the references Roger had provided. We were living in NJ at the time and building a home in northern MN so we needed a meticulous and trustworthy contractor that could operate remotely with no oversight. All of the references confirmed Roger had those qualities and more so we signed a contract in July 2018. The excavation began in October 2018 and we moved into our completed home in June 2019. Roger and his fantastic crew worked straight through the winter and delivered a beautiful lake home that was right on budget. He called anytime he had a question or suggestion and sent periodic photos that enabled us to view the progress. We love our new home and plan to be here forever but would not hesitate to use Roger again for future projects.

Over the last several years we had Langer Custom Builders reconstruct and remodel a large portion of our Guest cabin, build a new 24 x 30 garage with storage loft, and make major repairs to our main cabin after significant tree and stom damage in 2015. He, his crew and his recommended contractors just completed a new bunkhouse garage for us after the old one was badly damaged in last summer's storm. Before this I had heard (and seen) the quality of Roger's work in an acquaintence's completed home and then watched him build a neighbor's large garage. Both projects had received rave reviews from the homeowners, and now after personal experience, I can say I could not agree more! Roger's bid was clear and specific. With changes we agreed upon during the project, Roger updated the bid as needed so the finances were always clear. Every one of the team was a pleasure to work with. Roger obviously has a good relationship with his crew and contractors, and even more impressive was the fact he personally spent many hours both working on the building and attending to detail so that the job was done to plan - and to a high level of quality.
