Mack Colt Homes - Experienced. Detail Oriented. Great Follow-up - even after the house was built and the sale was complete. We are very happy with our Mack Colt home. We purchased the home shortly after it was framed. We made several changes, including the addition of a screened in porch with fireplace, bar, wine cellar and kids toy room. Mack's experience showed in his ability to accommodate our changes. He gave us feedback on why we could and couldn't do certain things do to structure, code limitations, etc. Mack and team were continuously following up on sub contract work and paying attention to the details. He showed concern for the neighbors and went out of his way to maintain a positive building experience for all involved. We've been in the house now for nearly 6 months and are very happy. He continues to respond swiftly to the little things that need to be tended to. This is our only experience building a house - but we believe our experience to be more positive than most.

We looked for a house for 3 years in a specific Kansas City neighborhood. We eventually found a lot to build on, but building was not in the original plan. We called Mack Colt Homes, as we had seen other finished work he had completed. Mack spent an hour on the phone with us, telling us about the building process in general. We eventually met with him and instantly knew he was our builder. He is a man of integrity and trust. He works for you and is meticulous with the details. He thinks ahead to foresee any potential issues and was always solution minded. Our project was done on time as projected. We were anticipating another "horror building story", instead we had the most incredible experience!! We have recommended Mack & his team to several others and will continue to do so. I would build again, but only using Mack Colt Homes.

We bought a lot and hired Mack Colt Homes to build our custom home. We were impressed by his attention to detail, work ethic and his character. We were worried initially about building a house because of the many horror stories you hear from others but couldn't be more thrilled with the final result. We felt the process was painless and we really enjoyed working with the entire Mack Colt team. We plan on staying in this home forever but if anything were to change we would build with the Mack Colt Homes team again with no hesitation.

Mack Colt build our house in 2012, closing date of Jan. 2013. He had secured an old home in an old neighborhood that was a tear down candidate. We purchased the lot from him and contracted on a custom build job similar to another house he had recently built. Mack and his team are truly experts in their field. They take steps to maintain quality standards that were beyond our level of knowledge--simply because will not put their name on anything that is not of the highest quality. They completed the project on time, on budget and went above and beyond to make the project as painless as possible.
