Besides having them build our house we also had them draw up our plans. They helped get our plans approved by the HOA as we were not living locally at the time. Easy to work with. Took care of post construction problems. If one brother was unable to get back to us on a question or concern the other brother did. Cost was in line with projections.

Thomas McCloskey, and Rick were excellent! They built us a beautiful home. I am so happy we chose them. Thomas and Rick were professional and followed up with us even after closing. They are honest, knowledgable in their field and easy to talk to. Thomas created a beautiful master bath for us. Nadia responded to all our emails; she was a great help with getting us through the paperwork. I highly recommend McCloskey Homes. They made the whole process seamless. Thank you guys! We choose McCloskey Homes to build our custom dream home. We choose them because they were flexible and willing to think out of the box. We had some bumps along the way, and McCloskey did everything to make things correct. We appreciate their dedication to completion of our home and very happy with the end result.

I interviewed 5 builders when we decided to build our new home. We’re so glad Thomas McCloskey was one of them. From the very beginning he listened first, and then shared with us his thoughts on everything. Thomas worked closely with our architect and all other trade contractors we used. His sub contractors were great to work with, even though we didn’t have to do anything with them, since he was always on top of their work. We feel this is our forever home, but if we ever build another home, we hope McCloskey Homes is our builder again.

This is the second custom home that McCloskey Homes have built for us. The first one was superb; this one; exceeds further still! Thomas is a true artist. He understands how to place a home on the land, how to capture best perspectives from all windows and doors, how to create the wow factor. He lifted our home design from an executive level to a luxury resort feel. Thomas was a pleasure to work with once again and has delivered us a home that is beautiful throughout.

A very unfortunate experience. Nothing but stress, lies, and a complete lack of communication. We requested to meet Thomas on-site time after time during the home build and he never once agreed to meet us. We only were able to primarily speak with his brother and accountant through an email thread where Thomas would occasionally only chime in to defend himself, only to disappear again. No notification of up-charges, we just randomly would get a bill sent to us for tens of thousands above what was on the contract. We would have weeks of emails back and forth about installing a bathtub, where they agreed to do the work and said no problem. Only for them to forget and then just blame the fact that it wasn't in the plans. Thomas has absolutely no accountability for himself or his company. They would request draws and say everything was good to go, only for us to do a walkthrough and find the trades damaged several items, that we then had to fight to get replaced, or fix ourselves. Other times on work not done right or completed they would threaten to cease work completely and pull all trades off the job until he was paid the work. Even though the time frame for payment, that was outlined clear as day in the contract, expressed that we had many days left before payment was due, and that the work had to be satisfactorily completed. I can't count how many unwarranted threats we received from Thomas. I would never recommend Thomas to complete your home build, he was completely and utterly unprofessional.
