Mountain Property Builders

Last Fall we contracted with Mountain Property Builders to build us a new home. I have enjoyed the entire process except when my wife didn't agree with me. Heather at the design center was amazing. Great House, Great Experience!

We just closed on our home in Denver. Mountain Property Builders built an amazing home for us. Jeff and his crew were great to work with. The Design Ctr in the Springs was amazing. We had so much fun picking out all of our finishes. I cant say enough good things about this experience.

I just closed on my new 4400 sq ft home. I cant say enough great things about this company. The process was simple, the people were great to work with. I would recommend this company form your new home.

Update!! Contracted Mountain Property Builders for our new home with great excitement. As this construction progressed, it became evident he wasn't following through with the quality of construction promised. After 4-6 months he started offering inferior upgrades and lowering list prices. Poor planning was evident with north facing decks and placement of home on lot without adequate space for front steps (elevated design too close to front property line). We felt this development would fail due to short sighted builder planning and arrogant attitude on owner. I would not consider a home by Mountain Property Builders.

We were under contract on a new Mountain Property Builder home in the Upland Park community in The Meadows in Castle Rock. Several months into construction, we found the builder repeatedly lowering the "standard" options to the other homes being offered in this subdivision, and trying to "up charge" us for items we were lead to believe we're included based on website images, plans, brochures and verbal communication. The builder began offering the surrounding homes at a much lower price with inferior finishes, and to date (6+ months after signing our contract), no other homes have sold. Builder did not have a model home, a design center or specifications as to what the finished product would be. We were expected to travel to venders from Colorado Springs to north Denver for option selections. It became evident as other foundations were poured that this development was poorly planned with north facing decks and guest parking/access issues. With the lack of sales, poor planning, inconsistent project pricing and finishes, we concluded that I purchase of a home in this Mountain Property Builder Development would be a poor financial investment. My advice to anyone considering a Mountain Property Home is to think twice....
