He grew up in a family of builders and began working with his father and uncle's construction companies at an early age. Ken learned the trades from the ground up, gaining experience in concrete, framing, electrical work, plumbing, roofing, and painting. On the commercial side, Ken has constructed or remodeled various establishments, including strip malls, grocery stores, tanning salons, dry cleaners, and well-known brands such as McDonald's, Osco Drug Stores, Michaels, and Tux N Tails. In his residential building career, Ken transitioned from constructing Hallcraft Homes with his father to building high-end million-dollar homes at Shea Homes, specializing in properties ranging from 3,500 to 5,000 square feet. In 2008, Ken earned certifications in thermal imaging, indoor air quality, and mold inspections. These qualifications make him a valuable asset to any builder or investor, as he can accurately assess the actual condition of any building or renovation project.
