Sandy McJunkin Homes

Sandy was instrumental in helping us renovate a portion of our 70 year old home. He helped us design and build an apartment above our garage and an office space for a home office (including bathroom). Subsequently he has helped design and build a shed for storage on our property. His sub contractors were all professional, responsive and did great work. During the course of the project Sandy became a part of our family - he puts a great deal of personal pride, energy and care into his craft and it is a pleasure to work with him.

Sandy McJunkin is currently building our custom home in Kirkland, WA. I will definitely update my review upon completion of our home but wanted to give a quick review of our experience so far. This is our first time building a home and Sandy truly makes the experience fun and as stress free as possible. The decisions and choices can feel overwhelming but Sandy really spreads them out so that you can focus on one thing at a time. He gives us a heads up when we need to start thinking about each thing and I have never felt rushed or pressured into any decision. All of his references have been spot on, from the architect he referred us to at the start to all of the vendors we have worked with in picking out finishes. Also, his contractors are extremely professional, respectful and clean. Our future neighbors have given Sandy and his team so many compliments on how they really stand out above the other construction teams in the neighborhood. Sandy is doing a great job sticking to our budget. He knows that is top priority and offers great advice on what areas to save and where spending a little extra will go a long ways. He is currently ahead of schedule on our new home, expecting to finish about a month early!! You can't ask for much more than on-budget and ahead of schedule when building a new home. And if that doesn't do it for you, Sandy is truly one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He really cares about your family and your new home like it's his own. He has a passion for making people's dreams come true and really enjoys what he does, and it comes through in his work. Sandy is a very honest and trustworthy man, two important qualities that allow us to sleep better at night knowing we can really trust our home builder. Sandy totally "gets" our vision and has helped us with many key decisions along the way. We have a few months to go before our gorgeous new home is complete but we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Sandy so far and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to build. Great man, quality work, better price than other companies that bid on the project and slated to finish ahead of schedule!
