We had to sell our Mother's home during Fall of 2016, when the real estate market in Vancouver had slowed significantly. At first, perhaps like many people, we did not feel that staging was worth the expense. We listed the property and the best offer we received was $110K below asking price. After another 2 weeks without further interest, we decided to take a chance on staging. We hired Private Property Staging to prepare the property before a second open house. Simply put, PPS did a fantastic job. While we followed the company's advice about improving the external appearance of the house, they went to work staging the interior. The work they did was so fast, efficient and professional. Their website displaying the property included a film which really made the place look refreshed, attractive and modern. After showing it again, the house sold in two days at $10K above asking price! Overall, our investment in staging with PPS made us $110K. I can't say enough about Private Property Staging and strongly recommend this company for anyone who wants to move their property quickly at a very reasonable price. We are totally sold on staging!
