Susan McFarland sold my condo for me, with the settlement in September of 2012. When I decided to sell, I interviewed several agents. The first was one who had successfully sold a condo in my building for a good price, but the agent came in expecting me to sign a contract. Another agent was the agent who sold the condo to me and their response was that I would never get enough to make it worth while. Then I contacted Susan McFarland. She arrived prepared with comps, a plan for staging my home and left with a very courteous and hopeful attitude. I quickly realized that she would do the best job and did she ever! She gave me strict instructions about removal and placement of furniture, a few new light fixtures to properly stage my home and I followed her instructions. She took several pictures and listed the home for a price that was higher than what many of the condos in our complex were selling for. I was reluctant; Susan was confident. Within 3 days we had an offer of our asking price and another buyer waiting in the wings. At settlement, Susan was so detailed that when she found an error in the figures, she insisted on not settling until the error was corrected. Nothing was signed until all parties agreed with every detail. I would (and have) recommended Susan McFarland to my friends. Susan is focus ed on the client.

Susan was an awesome buyers agent for me and my husband. I was a first time home buyer and really didn't understand the process or what I was looking for. Susan was patient and spent a lot of time narrowing down what we did want vs what we didn't want. She previewed the majority of the homes prior to taking us to see them which maximized the time we had when viewing homes to buy. She made the contract, inspection and closing processes clear, straight forward, and easily understandable. She was right there when additional work needed to be done or inspections. I recommend her to everyone I know!
