Kara was very helpful in assisting us with design choices for our new house. She has great knowledge of the products and ideas that are available, which helped us streamline our options and kept us within our budget. Kara brings a willingness to listen and a positive attitude to her work, which made us feel at ease throughout the design/build process. Her excellent relationship with the builder and trades people, meant she was able to get us timely answers to our questions. My husband and I would not hesitate in recommending this professional.

This designer was a great help to us when picking all our choices for our new home. Her decorating advice helped us turn own hopes of our dream home into a reality. Any questions we had she promptly provided her expert advice and we felt she understood the vision we had in our minds. The brick of the house was one of the choices I felt most important as it's something that can't be changed; and, she helped us make the decisions as to brick and even mortar choices that resulted in the exact colours I was hoping to have for our home. From cupboards, countertops and flooring she gave us the advice to give us a total design we will be pleased to live with for many years.

I can't say enough about working with Kara of A Fine Design. What a fantastic experience. We are so pleased with the work she did with our kitchen/main floor/ staircase renovation. Kara had previously worked with my parents on their house project and the results are wonderful. So naturally, we wanted to work with her on our project. The entire project came together so well. Kara's attention to detail and organizational skills are amazing. From concept, to colour/sample selections, to finishing touches, she kept us right on track. She had all of our information at her fingertips at all times, making it very easy when questions came up, so the project was never delayed. Kara is very creative and had a vision for the final result, but she also listened to us and incorporated many of our ideas in the design process. Specifically, in the kitchen. We were struggling with the layout of the island, until we came up with a concept that we thought had potential. Kara took our idea, added to it, and thus, the "Party Island", complete with pop-up TV, was created. There is plenty of workspace, and plenty of space for guests to gather. We have had rave reviews!! I am so grateful that we asked Kara to work on our project. In addition to her professionalism, organizational skills, creativity, and knowledge, she is a really wonderful person. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her and I look forward to future visits around the "Party Island"........and, of course, the next project!!

Kara Taylor is the owner/operator of this company and is one of the most professional, respectful and easy to work with people i have ever met. She has done the interior design for MP Custom Homes for about two years now and has designed over 50 homes. She has done the intrerior design on production homes as small as 1100 Sq. Ft. to totally custom homes as large as 2900 Sq.Ft. She is able to make every house reflect the individual customer and still stay within good design practices.
