I have been working in the interior design field since 1989, which all started in Toronto. I began learning the “World of Custom Draperies” primarily using my knowledge and passion for fabric! My education at that time was a graduate from University of Manitoba degree in Bachelor Human Ecology majoring in Clothing and Textiles. My father was a draftsman and carpenter by trade, so looking at floor plans and living through home renovations became embedded in my spirit. Along with my love for fabrics and creating, I became drawn to pursue work in the Interior Design field. I currently live and work on Vancouver Island, BC. I professionally design custom window fashions and through this work I started to feel very passionate about paint colour and the placement of clients furnishings as it related to the space. This is what lead me to Interior Redesign and I became certified with Sharp Redesigns in Victoria BC, in 2010. In future years I became certified as a paint color consultant and currently represent Sherwin Williams on job projects. I love their colour pallette and architectural library. In a few short words myself as an Interior Redesigner I am passionate about making the best of a space, a piece of furniture, your artwork, to the smallest accessory. I love to reuse items, refurbish them, taking something old and making it new again!
