My husband and I just finished a top to bottom dream- home renovation and couldn't have done it without these amazingly talented designers. They are so much fun to work with and really took the time to listen and understand our quirky likes and dislikes - always offering thoughtful solutions to create spaces that were both beautiful and comfortable. Andrea and Jessica are extremely organized, responsive and professional - they made this process so much easier for us and we can't wait to someday do another with them!

Wellesley and Chatham houses

I have worked with Blue Jay Design on multiple projects spanning over 10 years, and could not recommend the firm more highly. They guided me through a full kitchen and mudroom design and build, renovation and conversion of a sun porch to a cozy den, renovation of a master suite and advice on new paint, furnishings and fixtures in bedrooms, baths, and living/dining spaces. Blue Jay has always managed to balance acclimating to and working within my budget and taste while still being able to push the boundaries of my comfort zone, with beautiful results. I trust them completely, have found them incredibly easy to work with, and really have enjoyed our partnership. I regularly receive compliments on their work in my home and recommend them frequently. The best!!

While incorporating existing colors and family pieces, Blue Jay was able to modernize the rooms using custom made and off the shelf furniture to fit within my budget. I have worked with decorators in the past who didn't give me options and got things that were all very pricey. Blue jay Design give several nice options to chose from and from varying price points. Andrea and Jessica are outstanding designers - from reviewing architectural plans, lighting plans, landscape hardscape, paint colors, bath fixtures and tiles, art work, light fixtures, carpeting, and all furniture - they can do it all. They can be budget minded or if you want to splurge they can help you do that as well. They are excellent at narrowing down choices and presenting a few excellent options to make life easy for you. They streamline everything, are efficient with your time, are professional with timetables and billing, are highly creative and then some. I simply love living in the rooms and spaces that they have helped to design and decorate.

Jessica and Andrea have great insight into space, layout and quality furnishings to truly make the most of space in your home. They both have excellent attention to detail and an eye for beautiful and interesting furniture, fabrics, wallpapers, tile and paint colors. Jessica was fantastic to work with! We moved into a house and had to tackle window treatments in every room. Jessica was able to quickly assess my style, offer 3 tasteful options for each window, and manage the installation process so I didn't have to lift a finger.
