Yvonne Macris is an incredibly professional, organized, and detail-oriented person with a fantastic eye for design in all styles. My family is in the process of building a home, and I must say Yvonne has made much of the hardest parts of the process so much easier, such as sourcing furniture, lighting, color selections, and overall designing the interior of the home. This is our first time designing a custom home, and it feels like in the chaos that comes with that, she is a sort of guide through the process. An extremely good one, at that. We can get a bit disarrayed and confused in our decisions at times, but Yvonne is always patient and understanding with our many questions and requests. We are still in the process of designing, but just in the past few months we have learned so much about ourselves and designing a home, as she is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work and loves to share her research and experiences. Yvonne is an incredible designer that will surely enrich any project she is involved in, and we could not recommend her services more.

Last year, when I started on an extensive whole-house renovation/remodeling/redecorating project, I asked Rudy Brown, my builder, if he worked with a designer, as I had a decades-long accumulation of furniture, etc., and I wanted the decor of my “new” home to reflect a cohesive, beautiful, and practical style more in keeping with my lifestyle. Rudy Brown’s reputation is stellar, and when he said he worked with Yvonne Macris, I looked no further. I found Yvonne at Stinson’s Home Design Center, a virtual candy store offering an unparalleled selection of materials for flooring, counters, cabinets, windows, etc. From the outset, Yvonne listened and understood exactly what I hoped to accomplish. She clearly presented her overall strategic approach and organization to the project. Yvonne continually impresses me with her vast experience, expertise, talent, and willingness to go above and beyond my expectations. As we explored ideas, Yvonne suggested solutions, always keeping the budget in mind. She arranged for renderings of the furnished rooms to clearly show how they would look prior to making decisions on furnishings. Yvonne’s goal is to represent MY vision, and to that end she has a harmonious working relationship with my builder, ensuring that every detail coordinates with the overall design plan. Yvonne is always professional, calm and collected, and has superb communication skills. She is readily accessible for questions, discussions, meetings, follow-up and execution.
