About Us

Donna has been an active interior designer since 1998. She has her BFA from New York Institute of Technology. She began her design career as a photo stylist in New York City, and has been with Ethan Allen since 2004. With a passion for beautiful interiors, Donna embraces classical design with an updated modern edge. She approaches each design project with a personal down-to-earth attitude and works to create the luxurious or casual spaces her clients desire. Donna believes in incorporating treasured items into her projects and always offers her clients a unique design solution within their budget. Her projects include apartments and lofts in NYC, residences throughout Westchester, Connecticut, and the Hamptons. Design influences include mid-century modern, French and American country, and globally inspired motifs.

Donna Bouley had the task of filling in for a design assistant that we had been working with for a couple of months. She helped us finish the project in a seamless way and we are very happy with the finished product! Donna is a patient, detail-oriented, hardworking & on-the-ball kind of designer. She has a great eye for matching fabrics and rugs. We highly recommend her services. She did a wonderful job working with our current furnishings and helping us create more unified designs in our master bedroom, media room, guest room and common areas.

Donna understands busy people. She listened carefully to us. She was hugely helpful within a tight time frame, making herself available as we needed. She understood our vision and our time restrictions, and she provided guidance quickly -- various room layout ideas and furniture/finish/fabric choices by email, as we could not easily come to the store. Donna helped us easily order many rooms of furniture, keeping attention to detail and ensuring proper delivery. We are fortunate to have worked with Donna.

I met Donna Bouley when I went to Ethan Allen to refurbish my family roomand dining room. From the time she came to my home to take measurements, to meeting with her many many times in the store, she really was very pleasant and professional and extremely helpful and patient in helping me choose the right fabric, rugs and window treatments. I love the end result and continue to work with Donna on the finishing touches. I could not do this project without her. Extremely pleased!

Donna was professional and helpful. She familiarized herself with our concept and taste and made suggestions that were sensible. When I panicked about a fabric choice she was calm, laid out all the possibilities and we solved the "panic". We brought in our own carpet choice and she easily worked with that and all existing aspects of the rooms we redid. We could not be more thrilled with the new room we have. Donna exceeded our expectations.
