Eralyn Interiors

I paid Erica and Laurie Davis for their interior design services and to project manage the interior update of my home so I could focus on my elderly mother with end-stage Parkinson’s Disease. Erica and Laurie Davis were negligent in managing this project, resulting in many thousands of dollars of damage to my home. Earlier this year, I tried to resolve this situation amicably, but the Davises refused to engage constructively. Here are just a few of the issues, briefly. The project involved updating 5 interior doors to a more modern style. Laurie Davis measured the doors multiple times; they were 34" wide x 84” high, standard for my area. But then, these five interior doors were replaced with 36” x 80” doors, which means that the Davises' recommended providers cut into my home’s walls without permission, leaving problematic tile gaps. I’ve had to pay thousands of dollars to another provider to have my walls repaired and the work redone. The Davises’ recommended providers stole my oven. After which, Laurie Davis informed me that they would not return the oven or complete the work unless I paid thousands of dollars more than originally agreed. I very reluctantly paid. The Davises misrepresented someone on the project as the salesperson, but he ended up actually working on the project and invoicing me via the Davises. Firstly, the Davises never provided a Certificate of Insurance for this person, despite providing COIs for everyone else. Secondly, the Davises should have known that their colleague has a problematic legal history. My master bathroom vanity was purportedly destroyed during the project, but the Davises never provided photographic proof. I had to pay thousands of dollars extra to get the plumbing repaired afterwards. It’s critical to note that I was not allowed to speak to the workers during this project. I was only to communicate with Laurie Davis. Also importantly, I was not living onsite; I paid the Davises a not insignificant sum to manage this project so I could focus on my mother. All in all, it was a deeply distressing experience, and I've only told you the half of it. I hired Erica and Laurie to make my life easier. They only made it harder.
