Glasshouse Interior

I found Glasshouse Interior when looking for an interior designer on social media. I was enthusiatic to work with Marisa because of the bold colors and nice looks of homes she's designed. I'm rating two stars because of the flip arounds and some conversations had. I told Marisa the property was a family property passed down to me and I noticed she mentionned how awesome that was. This detail is important because my contract estimate for a kitchen renovation was for one price and after this conversation, Marisa stated that the work needed for my kitchen would need to be nearly DOUBLE what the contract signed stated. I put my budget was for something not to expensive / medium quality. I feel like she went up on the price because she thought I owned it. I felt pressured to go beyond my budget. When I finally put my foot down and we went over my budget, she made a comment that I had already paid for the design and they did their job. They'd do the management of the contractors and work, but essentially, if I decided the project was costing too much, oh well. In addition, I was saddened by the initial design. We did the walk through together thoroughly and the team seemed like they took all these notes and measurements. When I got the design, things weren't how we projected the look to be, and it was clear the measurements weren't taken into account. I decided it was time to wait to do the work for next summer because it was summer when we started, but now going into winter. Marisa let me know it was an additional fee, but the contract says I have up to a year until additional charges are necessary. We were suppose to follow-up in May, so why am I paying a fee when it's less than a year? It's now almost September and I haven't received a follow-up. I regret having gone through with this because now I've paid for a sketch / design that is of no use. I highly recommend standing firm in your budget and staying on them for design delivery.

We use them for all of our staging for all of our houses. They create some fantastic designs and have a great vision.

Marissa was a pleasure to work with. She is innovative and stylish when it comes to interior design. I am highly recommending her.

I am honestly still speechless. I LOVE my place. I can't believe I can call this home. Marissa is amazing. She is truly an artist and visionary. From the moment we met she was incredibly professional but still very friendly. She walked me through everything regarding the project from start to finish. She really helped me understand the process and made me comfortable with how everything with work. Marissa has an eye for things you cannot see. EVERYTHING she suggested she was right about. I was incredibly nervous to let go of certain pieces and control. I am SO GLAD I trusted her. I have received so many compliments about my place. People keep saying it looks like it is "straight from a magazine." Marissa takes time to understand your style and pays attention to the details to incorporate that in all parts of your design. Marissa also stays on time with everything. She was very on top of everything! She kept me up to date on where she was with sourcing, delivery and where we were regarding budget. Nothing was a surprise (except for how amazing it turned out... she exceeded all expectations there). I truly have nothing but amazing things to say about Marissa. I trust her and I think she truly has a gift and is talented. I already asked her to work on my bedroom and bathroom (she just completed my living room, kitchen and hallway). I am recommending her to all my friends (who have already been begging for her constant information) and I will for sure continue to have her keep my homes and spaces up to date. If you want someone you can trust, your place to feel like YOUR home and incorporate your style and personality, Marissa is the best! Glasshouse was incredible! Marissa did a flawless job on bringing life to my empty condo. During consultation she made sure to cover all details so that on install day there wasn’t a thing I could point out in which didn’t satisfy what I was in seek of. She came prepared with a lot of her creative ideas which definitely were attention grabbers. There’s no way one can walk through my place without asking about certain details & who did it for me. I’m still drowning in compliments as more guests come to visit (especially around this holiday season). Had it not been for Glasshouse, my property wouldn’t have been a home.

I heard about glasshouse from my hair stylist after her salon suite was made over and I couldn't believe how beautiful it turned out. I contacted glasshouse a few months later to help me decorate my new home and they did a spectacular job. I can't stop looking at my front room it's so beautiful. I've received so many compliments. I will definitely hire them again to decorate the rest of my house and trust me you should too.

When I say Marissa is the absolute best!!!!! That's just what I mean. I recently bought a new home and my money was short, she worked according to my budget. She didn't make me feel as if I wasn't worth working with. My space is absolute beautiful!!! I am in love! She communicates well, is very timely and most of all very friendly!! If you are looking for someone with all of these qualities, Marissa is your girl!!! I literally cried when I saw my living room.

I was extremely happy with the transformation Marissa did in my master bedroom! It was very important that she balance the masculine and feminine aspects in the room (my husband is very opinionated when it comes to our living space). She created a relaxing space that we both can enjoy and had no problems incorporating the things we did not want to get rid of. A week or so after the installation she reached out to see how we were enjoying our new space. She was a pleasure to work with and we would recommend her to anyone looking to reinvent a room or rooms in their home!
