Meet Nicole Duttera | FOUNDER, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER After climbing the ranks of several renowned San Francisco Bay-based firms, the transition to opening Hill & Highland was a natural one. Her experience creating interiors for numerous exclusive West Coast residences, managing large-scale projects, and translating dreams into one-of-a-kind spaces has allowed her to partner with clients since 2015 to design spaces that are equal parts refined and approachable. Nicole's design style is best described as elevated interiors for everyday living—characterized by her ability to create intentional, refined spaces. Relishing each new client relationship, Nicole always aims to gain a deep understanding of their personal preferences and needs. While every client is different, the end-goal is always the same: to make their home more beautiful, functional and serene. When she isn’t designing, you will find her at her weekend home in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, grounding herself in nature and spending quality time with her family. This is the first time we have utilized the services if an interior designer and I can say this was a much better experience than we could have hoped for. Nicole and I just clicked from our first inital phone consultation. She was both professional and prompt. She got me right away, my ideas and my expectations. She jumps right in and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. The initial consultation put a lot of our apprehension at ease. We purchased a new construction home, and had a blank canvass to work with but that also meant all changes were going to be radical ones. I tend to be a little conservative with my design ideas and Nicole could sense that. She started with small things to try and gauge my willingness to try new things, and that developed my trust in her ideas. By the end of our project (entire family/dining room/ main entry/ kids play room) we were left with things I would have NEVER considered on my own, but I absolutely LOVE IT!!! My house is now a home because of her. Nicole was responsive and flexible, willing to make changes or go an entirely different direction if that was what I wanted, yet kept me on track through out the way. And did so on more than one occasion! She truly loves what she does, and she does it perfectly. We will definitely be using her throughout the rest of the house and highly recommended her to others.

We hired Revival Market Home after many failed attempts at getting our kitchen/family room remodel underway. It was literally a breath of fresh air to hand over the reins to a professional. Nicole (owner, designer, and so much more!) is the elite in this trade. She presented us with a design that was exactly as I pictured for our farmhouse style kitchen - not only functional and high-end but, most importantly, within our budget. She paid great attention to the small details, making the whole space come together so naturally and beautifully. Nicole was present throughout the entire project, in communication with the construction team almost daily, and kept things moving smoothly. She always made herself available when I had a question or concern. If I had to do it all over again, the only thing I would change would be to hire her sooner. I will never renovate another space without Revival Market Home. There just isn't anyone better!

I hit the jackpot when I chose Nicole Duttera of Revival Market, to design our main bathroom, laundry room and hallway between the two rooms. She listens to your needs, and also considers all the details of your other rooms, and marries the elements into her design proposal. Nicole is very professional and communicates well. She is very knowledgeable, not only in design, but with construction. And knows how to speak and work with contractors. She exceeded my expectations! I will use Nicole's services for our future remodels. Design costs, labor/material costs were: $23k. Nicole's cost $1700.00

I highly recommend Nicole Duttera with Maven + Maison Interiors to help you with your designing needs. Her taste is impeccable as well as her attention to detail. I needed to repaint my new home and she helped me to understand the importance of choosing colors that flow from room to room which helps in the grand scheme of things. There was also the formal living area that was an odd size in which new furniture was needed. Once the measurements were provided for the floor plan as well as the positioning of the many windows in the room, Nicole was able to understand my vision of what I was looking for, showed me the layout of different components that would work (sectional or sofa with several chairs, coffee table etc) within the space and provided pictures from different retailers that was within the budget and style that I liked. Nicole also pointed out the importance of different fabric choices and why it was crucial to understand why you would choose one over the other. If you are looking for someone that is visionary, patient and knows how to get create the look/style that you desire....Nicole is definitely your Go to Gal. Highly professional and well connected within the industry when finding the best deals possible for your needs.

This young designer has amazing insight. She is creative, inspiring, and possess an unlimited talent for understanding your vision for your home. I was priviledged to work with Maven + Maison Interiors on several remodeling projects in my home. Every experience has been positive and made easy with her professional and knowledgeable expertise in the field of design and working with vendors and contractors. She has an amazing sense of style, color, textures, and space. She was able to take a few concepts and raise them above all of my expectations. I will always use Maven + Maison for all of my home projects.
