We’re a perfect blend of two complimentary design aesthetics: Kristin, with a passion for design and Ron, with a twenty-year love of building. Merging the two together, we found a way to offer unique home décor and furniture made from reclaimed materials. Not knowing if anyone would be interested in our designs that blend historic charm with industrial flare, we decided to risk it all and follow our dreams. In 2012, forty-eight hours before Hurricane Sandy came ashore, Homestead Princeton was born. From humble beginnings, Homestead Princeton has grown and quickly become established as New Jersey’s premier independent gift and home furnishings destination. At a time when retailers were giving way to massive online conglomerates and big box mega stores, Homestead Princeton offered a personal gathering place to find uniquely curated, perfect gifts and home décor. Ultimately it’s a family business. Working and raising four children in Princeton, we feel deeply rooted in the community. We are proud to extend the Princeton legacy of owner operated independent retailers. Homestead Princeton was an idea, a concept to bring affordable small batch unique American gifts, furniture and home décor that can’t be found in large chain stores to the local shopper. Over the years our concept grew and we have become a destination in the thriving town of Princeton, New Jersey.
