Understanding that every client is unique, she was inspired by the psychology of human interaction with the home environment, empowering Jillian to design spaces that create balance in each client's life. Jillian began her career working for a design—build firm where she began learning the painstakingly difficult task of construction management. With a focus in both interiors and kitchen and bath design, she is able to aid homeowners through every facet of the building process. In 2011, the NCIDQ-certified designer opened up her namesake firm, Jillian Richey Design, which now serves clients throughout the country, and has been featured in numerous publications and events, most recently Modern Luxury, Design Chicago, and Naperville Magazine.

Jillian was the interior decorator on our new construction house. She did the complete interior design including making adjustments to architecture blueprints, adding architectural details, selecting interior and exterior paint, flooring, cabinets and counters, tile, flooring, light fixtures, bathroom fixtures, wallpaper, drapery, furniture - everything from beginning to end. It is a lovely coordinated look. Jillian answered all our questions and was easy to communicate with
