My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Julie Mahurin on numerous projects, spanning 25+ years and three residences. Whether we are doing a major remodeling project, or simply updating fabrics or furniture, we rely heavily on Julie's excellent taste and professionalism. She understands our priorities and is very easy to work with. Using her knowledge and experience, she presents us with exciting choices and ideas. Once we have made a choice, we never regret it. She returns phone calls right away and finds a solution to every problem. Best of all, she helps us to create a beautifully decorated home that still feels very personal, incorporating heirlooms and other pieces of our family life, I have recommended her to many friends, and will continue to do so!

I recently built a new home and enlisted Julie Mahurin's help as a designer. What I sought was a professional to advise me on colors, furniture, fabrics, and floor plans. However, Julie's expertise far surpassed my expectation. She joined me at virtually every meeting and guided me about everything from floor coverings to crown molding design and everything in between. She was considerate of my budget and creative in incorporating pieces from my former home. Julie was careful not to impose her personal sense of style on me but rather determined my taste; the end result was a home that reflected my personality. There are always challenges when building a new home. Mine were clearly mitigated by working with a designer who was professional, creative, and unruffled throughout the process.

Julie has worked with me extensively for over 20 years on two different houses. Her taste is impeccable and she listens to your thoughts and vision for your home. She will often come with 3 or 4 choices for a fabric or some other item, all of which seem fantastic and I work with her to make the choice. All of my "Julie choices" stand the test of time! Creative, intelligent, reliable, timely, detail oriented, knows her business, easy to work with, coordinates well with other vendors - these are all words which describe Julie.

Julie has impeccable taste and a tremendous eye for color, pattern, furnishings. she has decorated every room of every home we've had. helped us mix our things with new ones when we moved. We wouldn't have done it with out her!!
