Karen Oatman was wonderful to work with. We knew the look we wanted for our kitchen but were not sure how to accomplish it. She came up with several choices to make sure it all "came together" as we wished and made sure all the details were covered. I had one thing in mind for cabinet pulls, she showed me several that I hadn't even thought of. I chose one of those and am so happy I did!! She was easy to get hold of and flexible to work within our budget. We love our kitchen!! Would definitely use Karen again!

Karen, was kind enough to take a road trip to Arkansas with me to help me surprise my 12 year old niece with a bedroom makeover. It was a quick 2 day project with a surprise reveal at the end...just like on TV! With the help of my mother & my sister-in-law the 4 of us painted, sewed, framed art & made multiple trips to the hardware store & Hobby Lobby. I've never been so tired in my life! We all had a wonderful time, though, & Karen kept us all on task and organized. Since this was an out of town job for us, preplanning was key. Karen shopped with me, researched with me & helped me pull together a clear vision for the project. My niece was thrilled & I was so happy to treat her to a more grown up room. Karen has a real gift for giving teens & kids an inspired place to call their own. Probably because she's still a kid at heart herself!

Karen Oatman of K. Oatman Design worked in our home designing a plan for the remodel of our kitchen and family rooml. She was very professional and had great ideas for the remodel. Not only did she design the remodel she also did much of the work herself and worked great along side our contractor. She is very personalble and easy to work with. She also knew great places to look for our materials and accompanied me to choose what I wanted to use. I had a very positive experience and am very happy with the results. I would recommend K. Karen is great! There is no question that she is truly an artist. She has an excellent eye for color, texture and space. Not only does Karen have amazing ideas, she will personally ensure that your project meets with her high artistic standards. She is also a lot of fun to work with.
