It was a pleasure working with Kate! From start to finish, she simplified the design process and navigated us past the rookie mistakes we surely would have made if we were approaching the project in the way we usually approach things, which is DIY. With a newly constructed 3,500 sf home to furnish on a budget, Kate helped us figure our where to splurge and where the save and made sure we stayed within our comfort zone for spending. Her knowledge of brands and styles is immense and when we brought items that we liked to her attention, she could often find something of a very similar style and quality for a lower price - score! In our initial meeting we chatted and figured out what style and aesthetic we were going for and Kate built up a deck of furniture and furnishing that matched that vision. Whenever something we had fallen in love with was out of stock or backordered, Kate was able to quickly suggest replacement items and seamlessly juggle through the web of changes that entailed. For instance, we couldn't get the sofa we wanted so we found a great replacement but that meant adjusting the side tables which then lead to adjusting the wall art selection and possibly the carpet - you get the idea. On reflection, we are convinced that the money Kate saved us, through her acute design and price knowledge, more than paid for her fee and that is not including all the headaches we were spared by Kate weaving her way through supply chain problems and finding solutions for us. Kate is very approachable, easy to work with and was a delightful partner for our project and 5-star experience.

Kate Aubrey is a must hire. She is exceptional at what she does. Her designs are fresh and innovative, and she does an excellent job of understanding the client's tastes, and then running with that to make something even better. She is extremely responsive and creates gorgeous design decks. Just literally everything you would want in a designer PLUS she is the nicest person ever and so fun. You'll want to stay friends long after the project is done and share a glass of wine together in your beautiful new place. Highly, highly recommend.

I could not recommend Kate enough for any internal decorating design work. She is a true professional and able to bring not just your ideas to life but encourage you to design a space that is truly wonderful to live in. She can work with all budgets and often amazed us with her purchasing power. A wonderfully bright and responsive person, who manages the largest of projects with ease and courtesy with all members of the construction team and their subs.

Working with Kate was a delight from start to finish. From the very beginning Kate had a vision for how our renovated apartment would look and feel more like a home. Kate was with us every step of the way helping us pick the right colors, fabrics and a new layout to our place. Kate was very helpful in suggesting affordable alternatives that would give us the same look but at a more affordable price point. Kate was also on the scene as furniture was being delivered and installations were being performed. Finally, our renovations were completed just a few days before the NYS shutdown due to Covid. Quarantining in place in our newly renovated homey apartment was a great source of comfort to our family. If you contract Kate, rest assured your are dealing with the best in the business!

Kate is a star! We had a dreadful little cabin in the back of our property and she turned it into the Taj Mahal. Excellent sense of color and balance. Can't recommend highly enough!
