We could not have achieved our dream design of a new commercial office building without the help of Karen! We have worked with several design professionals over the years, and Karen was by far the most professional, patient, creative, and efficient! She actually made the design process fun, and not stressful. She carefully listened to our visions and worked tirelessly to bring them to life. Karen was quick to share thoughtful insight, provided options at different cost points according to the budget, communicated professionally with vendors, and provided concise information to allow us to make informed decisions. Her experience is a tremendous help and she was able to provide guidance on many different project aspects that we had not even considered. She was involved in all aspects of the construction process and was very responsive with only a quick phone call or text away when we had any questions. There were several times during the process when she immediately jumped in to solve an issue and it provided us with a great peace of mind and relief. Karen was always pleasant and smiling, which is a great relief during a stressful design moment. I commented many times that she actually made the project fun, not stressful, and we certainly achieved the WOW factor we had envisioned for our new office space! KLarkin Interiors was awesome! I had A LOT of stained trim throughout my home - baseboards, crown, chair rail, window trim, fireplace surround, French doors, front door & staircase - and finally decided that it was way too much and needed toned down considerably. Karen & I combed through color combinations together and she helped me select the perfect trim and wall color combination that works for my home. We also walked through all of my rooms and planned exactly what was to be painted and what should be left stained. She also walked me through the process of making sure that these colors complimented all of my features that were staying - like my kitchen cabinets, granite & tile floor. Together we came up with the perfect combination that I carried throughout my first & second floors. She coordinated the painters and followed up consistently on their work to ensure outstanding workmanship. When I decided that my fireplace tile surround had to be updated we decided on a new surround and she coordinated the tiler to come and replace my tile. Any time I was doubting my decisions Karen was always there to provide support and reinforced that our vision would come to fruition. She has an excellent eye for detail and expects the highest quality results from her contractors. I can't say enough about the positive experience I had working with her! My home is fresh and updated with just the perfect amount of painted and stained wood and my family and I absolutely love it! I would highly recommend KLarkin Interiors for any of your home projects!
