Vicky Dabissiere (lead designer) is a graduate of the New York School of Interior Design, has an extensive background in retail merchandising and marketing in the home decor field. "I believe not only can a space be elegant, but it should be a space that you can actually live in. More importantly, it should be a reflection of the client." Marinique Dabissiere (project manager) is the co-founder of LaVie Design. She is an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the design company. She wears several hats, including handling the financial end of the business. Her organizational skills are invaluable as project manager. Furthermore, not only is she there to brainstorm during the creative process but she is instrumental in helping to execute the design projects. Marinique has a degree from FAU as well as from UMDNJ. People believe that hiring an interior designer is unnecessary, unattainable, expensive. Our goal is to dispell those beliefs. We want every client to understand through their experience with LaVie Design, it is possible to have a beautiful home that is both comfortable and functional and that the money invested in their design project is money well spent. Sometimes, interior design can be overwhelming. There is a plethora of choices from color, style, fabric, resources, etc. Couple that with the fact that a client may not even know where to start. This is where we, at LaVie Design, can step in and provide guidance and advice.
