Lea Bartneck

I first met Lea about 9 years ago with I did a large renovation in my house. I really could not of done it without her. Lea is very easy to work with ,but more importantly, she does an amazing job in transforming space into beautiful living areas.

I hired Lee after a jarring experience with another designer. My home was being rebuilt after a fire. I needed someone to work as part of a team with my architect and contractor. The entire house needed a color palette, furnishings, lighting - everything that goes inside the walls of a home. Working with Lee was immensely enjoyable. We worked together over a 2-year period. She worked wonderfully with the rest of the team and helped with many decisions that needed to be made regarding the structure, such as kitchen backsplash and the exterior and interior colors. Lee has great connections that helped with several projects - binding carpeting for a curved staircase where the carpeting did not go to the edges of the stairs, a faux painter who completed the look of an art deco iron stair railing, and installers for the custom shades and headboards. She provided options, selecting ideas in advance therefore controlling the amount of time I needed to spend, had a holistic approach to the home. Everything works with everything else without feeling either monochromatic or excessively busy. I like the subtlety, the warmth and the appreciation for the practical when needed. Lee is my go-to person when it comes to design, color, fabric and ease of working. I gladly endorse the work she has done.

We first worked with Lea in 2002 on a master bath remodel. Since that time we have used Lea to completely update our house. Lea has been great to work with and we have been very satisfied with her work.

I have been working with Lea for about 6 years. Whenever I want to start a new design project, she is the first one I call. She always makes herself available and is excited to begin a new room with me. She will start from scratch or use existing pieces, whatever I want. I think her background in art makes her color sense outstanding. I now have a beautiful den with "perfect" blue walls thanks to her!
