Margaret is a veteran of interior design and has been creating luxury-lifestyle design for 35 years. Her passion for elevating design to create sophisticated, comfortable and practicale spaces lead to founding Margaret Lalik Design and Decor in 1990. Margaret graduated from Woodbury University with a Major in Interior design and a Minor in Business, fully leveraging her established business acumen of a highly motivated entrepreneur committed to building strong, long-lasting rapport with her clientele. From commercial spaces to private residences, she has taken on a vast array of renovation projects with a bold aesthetic and exuberant vitality. Not bound by a single design style, Margaret lets her design come about organically from the site itself, finding inspiration in classical design elements mixed in with contemporary interpretations. Every choice is an intimate reflection of the client's palette, balancing distinctive colors and eclectic furnishings. The end result is always a harmonious space, integrating elegant style, comfort and functionality. Her efforts have been recognized as she achieved the prestigious California Council for Interior Design Certification and became a certified Designer. She continues to hone her craft by stating up to date on the latest interior design trends.

Margaret helped me design/renovate my kitchen. Margaret was extremely thoughtful throughout the entire process. She took the time to show me countless options for each tiny aspect of my kitchen, making sure I found what was exactly right for me and my taste. She's extremely thorough. Margaret, along with the rest of the staff were kind, prompt, and explained everything that was happening throughout the steps of the project. She was so easily accessible (as were the Lowe's staff members that helped on the project) and called or emailed back with answers to questions almost immediately. It really felt like working with a partner. I would recommend Margaret, as well as Lowe's, for any renovation needs. I had the most wonderful experience working with them and will be going back for any renovation/decorating needs. Thanks Margaret!

Margaret is extremely helpful. She listens to details. Makes notes of what you want and makes sure you get what you want with no substitutions. She is always available to answer questions. The best part about working with Margaret is, she helps you express your personality through colors and design while always giving you tasteful advise. I recommend Margaret as a designer, especially with her having 25 years of design experience, does not disappoint!

She was exceptionally patient in explaining the process and helping me to choose the best products for the space. Complete Kitchen Remodel- Working with Margaret was a pleasure. She was very professional and knowledgable with kitchen remodels. She listened to our wants and desires and provided her professional ideas to enhance our overall project. I have engaged Margaret Lalkiian at Lowe's to help me redesign my 1923 kitchen and master bath. Her and creative eye and expertise has been wonderful, because I could easily become overwhelmed with the size of my to-do list. The purpose for this is not just cosmetic, but to make the small spaces more ergonomic and efficient. This house is my heart, my life, and my family's history and homestead for 50 years. I want to honor the 4 generations who have made this home what it is, and finally usher it into the 21st century, to be a legacy for my son and daughter-in-law. Before are some "Before" pictures of the kitchen. I'm praying for the work to finally commence in about mid-July, and then I can proudly take photos of my restored home, inside AND out when it's done, because I'm going to push the work forward, and even help with some of the smaller projects!
