We are a full service interior design firm that focuses on relationships with our clients and all of our trade partners. Our team brings high energy and a passion for design to every project, whether a new construction, remodel or just a house refresh. PRINCIPAL DESIGNER - Sarah Randolph founded the firm in 2008 following a successful career working for high end residential interior design firms first in San Francisco and then in the Twin Cities. FEATURED WORK - We have been featured in several Midwest Home Luxury Home Tours, Parade of Homes, Artisan Home Tours, as well published work in Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, Midwest Home Magazine, Elegant Homes, and Tonka Times. SARAH is a native of Wayzata, Minnesota, received her B.A. from the University of Kansas and attended UC Berkeley for Interior Design and Interior Architecture for her post graduate degree.

After Sarah and her team did such an amazing job with the design and interior of our first custom home project, we trusted her to handle a very special undertaking. Designing and selecting the finishes of a new home on the site of my childhood home. Everything Sarah chose for us is perfect, from the bathroom and kitchen tiles to the unique custom fireplace surround. Going above and beyond, Sarah helped design two custom tables made from a massive dying oak tree in our yard where my grandfather had hung a tire swing when I was a kid. We spend much of our time now on our three-season back porch, enjoying a peaceful 180-degree lakeview. Sarah is so much fun to work with. She was responsive, creative and especially patient with all the emotions that come from a legacy project like this. If we ever decide to design another home, Sarah has the job.

She’s upbeat and fun, down-to-earth and relatable. I am super impressed with her attention to detail and how organized she is. When it came to renovating our modern mountain home, she saved me all the legwork and stress. Sarah did an amazing job designing our living room and kitchen. The basement is now one of our favorite places, with the stunning, deep green cabinets at the bar and the fireplace. We first engaged Sarah (and Randolph Interior Design) for a small furniture design project. After our first project, we knew we were working with someone special. Fast forward 9 years and RID has helped us with: room repainting, furniture re-upholstery, 2 bathroom refreshes, a bathroom remodel, a kitchen and mudroom renovation and a laundry/pantry home addition. Sarah comes to every meeting ready to listen to our thoughts, desires and needs. She then adds her creative design, building on our original ideas, to help us create an aesthetic that fits our family and style. Sarah’s unique relationships with contractors, vendors etc. makes the process enjoyable and smooth.

Working with Sarah Randolph Interior Design, Inc on our new home build was fantastic. Designing a new home from scratch was very overwhelming to us and Sarah was with us every step of the way. She remained patient, excited, attentive and creative as we worked together over the long stretch of design and build. It was important for us to design a space full of timeless style that reflects our family but yet is comfortable, approachable and livable. With two young boys, we also wanted the spaces to be practical and functional. Sarah made design recommendations that were spot on with these goals. We are thrilled with the end result. We have and will continue to use Sarah Randolph Interior Design, Inc as we need help on other projects, such as our lake home.
