As with any remodel, ours had its challenges. Working with Valerie to address them was fabulous. Valerie’s layout and design ideas were so creative and helped us achieve what we wanted for our home. She understood our design ethic and we are ecstatic with the result! Just a pleasure working with Rumor Design.

Lindsey Jamison and and team at Rumor are Amazing! Seriously. They took a 1947 crazy outdated home and designed the remodel with a new kitchen addition, new decks, and it was brought down to the studs. Then then designed the interior and I now live in my dream home. It is stunning. They are brilliant, creative, and nailed it more than I can even express. I’m thrilled.

Rumor Design is a hidden gem of an Interior Design Studio in NW Colorado. We recently moved here and needed help updating our older home. They tackled everything from picking out lots of new furniture, coming up a brand new kitchen design and and refreshing our bathrooms. Their whole team is beyond talented. Rumor's style is fresh and modern yet totally in tune with the personalities of their clients. Their storefront & office on Main Street Steamboat is so chic. We cannot wait to see the finished product of their hard work. All of their ideas (concept to actual execution) is worth every penny.

Valerie and her team were not only the best and brightest designers -- they were there every step of the way during the tedious construction phase and were always on top of everything. Rumor Design took care of our whole house- inside and out and It looks fabulous! The best part was how easy it was to work with them from over 850 miles away in AZ. We didn’t have to worry- we just let them do their work! Many thanks to Lindsey, Joe and the whole team who took such good care of us.... we consider them friends and neighbors now!!

Rumor Design was recommended to us by several people when we needed help to completely finish the interior of a house we bought. Everyone in the office was wonderfully helpful but especially Katie who was on top of all our needs and wants without being "pushy" about it! That suited our personalities very well and having lots of support in doing something we had never before done was very reassuring. On moving day Katie and Val came over to the house to help us place the many belongings we brought into our new space and that was super helpful. All of the people that we came in contact with in the office were so patient and kind in explaining things we questioned and we never felt like anything was too much trouble to them. Their professionaIism and knowledge of their craft was remarkable. I have given them the highest recommendation I could and the only thing that I am disappointed with is that as we finish our home I will no longer have the opportunity to "pop" into the office and be greeted by these great people and a little four legged friend.

We worked with Valerie & Katie on a condo remodel project and had a wonderful experience. Their creative ideas helped bring the project from concept to reality, and most impressive was their ability to manage the project on the set timeline (we even finished a month early). For an owner that lives on the other side of the country, that was especially noteworthy and made for a pleasant experience and exciting outcome to our new condo.

Bruce and Lindsey were easy to work with, they listened to our concerns, and gave great guidance and advice throughout the project. They came in on time, and everything was done to perfection! We are very happy with the results

The level of detail, organization and high-end quality product they bring to the table does not even begin to describe their level of perfection. Valerie and Bruce with Rumor helped us furnish our new home in old town Steamboat. The home is an older home with some tricky spaces to furnish and they came up with various designs and some very creative and fun ideas for furniture and furnishings. Val and Bruce are delightful to work with and we would recommend them highly to anyone. I am a real estate broker and I do refer them often to my clients. Also recommend stopping by their retail store called Zing. Five stars!

Rumor Design offers a refreshingly fun, inspirational and uplifting style with top notch professional advice. After the initial introduction, they are quick to understand what style makes you happy, also listening carefully to how you live in the space about to be decorated, . Once they have completed their research, they offer intelligent spacial designs to best use the space available, provide an interesting choice of furniture and fabrics which they have already combed through with a professional eye. Should you not like a recommendation, their approach for alternatives is efficient, friendly and creative. Our Project was handled within the agreed Deadline, within the Budget and especially what I also appreciated was that they went out of their way to tend to many details which I could not do myself as I live in another country. Nothing was a problem. My experience with Rumor was superb and fun. Since the initial furnishing, I have used Rumor several times to update the same Project as well as to obtain advice for another project abroad.

They did a great job listening to my desires and kept me in complete communications throughout the decorating. They were very professional and honest! I love my condo!

Bruce Caplowe and Valerie are the most professional designers I have worked with in over 25 years! They are friendly and helpful and have great design sense. They are completely respectful to the budgets and in fact will see a project from start to finish and always do what they say. If there is a problem( which there rarely ever is) they rectify it. Our projects have always come in on or under budget which is why I can continue to finish remodel my home with complete confidence. They are extremely reasonable and because they also own a furniture store they can get pieces quickly. Contractors love to work with them because they are wonderful to work for.
