Last summer Marina call my company to ask if I was available to give her a bid on a house that she was in charge of finding a contractor for remodeling the house of her clients that she would then be decorating . He worked with Marina for several weeks putting numbers together for her clients and although we did not get awarded the job by the client she was a joy to work with very organized and I believe capable of just about anything.

When looking for a designer, it was important that they 1. got me, my style and what I was trying to create, and 2. that they had a personality that would create a pleasurable working experience. Marina exceeded my expectations! She was tasked with creating a space that worked for both myself, and my husband. That wasn't an easy task, as we both had some non-negotiables on our list. The space we were working with wasn't very large. It was the main living/dining area in our 1350 sq. ft. condo (open floor plan). Marina completely transformed our space into a place we loved being in, actually used and really created that "WOW" factor. The flow was cohesive, the style was 100% us, she was able to create a multi-functional space, and all of our non-negotiables were met. As a matter of fact, when we put our condo on the market to rent, it showed beautifully (all potential tenants commented on the decor), and I'm certain it's what got us top dollar for our condo (when we were told people would never pay that much). Marina was a joy to work to with. She's got an amazing eye for design (no matter what your taste/style), and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

An added plus to Marina Storey's exceptional design ability is her superior organizational skill. She kept our long project on time and on budget. Her ability to picture the end result and move toward it without neglecting all-important details is unparalled. I delighted in watching her update tired color schemes and upholstery without compromising the integrity of fine pieces. Her innate sense of color and scale played a huge part in making a small tired rent house into an inviting home. She was always willing to suggest a more economical purchase if money was better spent elsewhere. And while Marina is always quick to credit her trusted list of suppliers and craftsmen should something go awry she takes full responsibility and works until all sides are satisfied. Throughout our project we appreciated her careful bookkeeping and billing practices. There was never a single unexplained charge. We plan to use Marina on any and all future projects.
