About Us

Sue was educated in interior design at Post University. She joined Ethan Allen with more than two decades of design experience and is well versed in both residential and corporate interiors. Having traveled extensively throughout the United States and Asia, she has an in-depth understanding of the challenges clients’ face when moving into a new community and making a new house a home. Whether it’s for just one room or an entire home, she enjoys helping clients establish a solid plan. Sue believes that every home should reflect her clients’ tastes and personalities. She loves working with color and transitional styles and has a particular fondness for working with clients who have children and pets. Even the “furry” members of the family are taken into account.

I wasn't sure of the best way to utilize the space I had, so I had Sue come out to take a look. In the middle of remodeling chaos, she walked the space, took photos, measurements and discussed how we were going to use the space. She got back to me quickly with floor plans. I'm a visual person so seeing them with the actual pieces on a screen, was perfect for me! Sue took the time to understand our wants and needs and boy did it pay off. She absolutely nailed it and we love it!!!

I recently had a very pleasurable design experience when planning a furniture purchase at Ethan Allen in MANCHESTER. My husband and I met with Sue Jucker on a few occasions, as well as an in home consultation, which helped us plan out and change up our current living area space. Sue listened to our wants and needs and patiently helped us choose coordinating fabrics and materials, and with the aid of visual technology we were able to preview different layouts and choices using our exact home specifications and design. I am anxiously awaiting our furniture, and would definitely return to Ethan Allen to work with Sue again! Lisa V,

I just have to tell you how wonderful Sue has been as a designer. She just finished our second project together. First was my Master Bedroom in My New England Home. Absolutely loved all the pieces and design. Sue's vision was spot on. Our Second project is a whole home in Naples, Florida. She listened and heard all my requests. She picked out the most amazing furniture that fits me and My family. I was so excited as every piece was placed. Thank you Thank you :) I am looking forward to project #3.

She consistently goes the extra mile to satisfy the customer. She is knowledgeable and gifted in interior design.
